The bathroom had a bit of a smell but other than that , everything was wonderful

The food was amazing ! Everything we ordered was delicious, staff were very friendly and accomodating Room service was also an awesome bonus We saw elephants crossing the river and a hippo too on the deck while having breakfast Spa was really good too !

Our view of Crocodile River from room 15 balcony was obscured by tree branches so maybe these branches could be trimmed for future visitors.

- 10 minutes by car from the gate (but they always arranged us a car to take us there)

- you can see elephants and other animals from the balcony - great prices on the spa - they arrange good safaris and cars to take you to the crocodile gate - good prices for meals

THE VIEW WAS GREAT,GREAT LOCATION VERY CLOSE TO THE GATE. BREAKFAST WAS EXCEPTIONAL,REALLY ENJOYED IT RIGHT ON THE RIVER BANK.I WOULD DEFINETLY GO BACK THERE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO VISIT BUCKLERS

The fridge in the room was way too small, especially the freezer part. We wanted to "braai" for ourselves in the evenings so we brought our meat and other food with us. Unfortunately some of it went bad and we had to waste it because we couldn't freeze it and the fridge was too small to fit everything. We also therefore couldn't store our own ice as we'd like but could however any time get ice from the staff members which was great. The kitchenette could use some more items such as steak knives, more bowls and bigger drinking glasses.

It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We loved the view from the deck. The breakfast was excellent. It was very convenient that the lodge has a generator so we didn't even check load shedding schedules. The lodge has a wonderful, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We never felt bothered by staff or other guests. The tables on the deck is wonderful for relaxing and gazing over the river. Overall a great experience.

there were limited food options, especially for dinners. Outside guests were also allowed to dine on the property, taking all the best spots, leaving paying guests with no place to sit

There were sometimes a bad smell in the air, i would guess sewarage from the drain system. but everything else were very nice, and Bucklers Lodge will definitly see our family again. thank you gus

I organized with the Lodge a lovely wedding anniversary dinner for me and my wife, and it was an amazing effort from the Lodge. The food was also very lovely. Accommodation was 5 Star and we enjoyed our stay with Bucklers Lodge

The restaurant availability and the staff in the restaurant are not as welcoming as the rest of the Bucklers staff.

Bucklers is a lovely place to stay for trips into Kruger park. The only problem is the restaurant and the staff there. It would be helpful if guests who are staying on property you would confirm dining as it's not very welcoming when you show up for dinner and are told there are no tables available. The food is better than the first stay a few months ago but we did miss having the set menu to choose from. The staff in the spa are very friendly.

Suggest you fit a shelf or soap dish holder in the shower cubicle.

Outstanding breakfast, excellent chefs. Suggest you supply plain yogurt for guests who don't want too much sugar. Location and view were great.
