Buhala Lodge is a very good place to visit the Kruger Park. The view on the river is spectacular. And the staff is really great and supportive. Last but not least also the food was really good! We really enjoyed our stay! Next time we will stay longer!

Everything about Buhala was amazing from start to finish! Me and my wife enjoyed our honeymoon in the elephant suite which was such a pleasure. All staff were top tier with excellent service. We hope to someday return to Buhala lodge in the near future.

We would have liked to do a short game drive as we did not want to go out at 5.00am and return at 1.00pm

Old style lodge with a good restaurant and cellar. Very supportive staff. Hippos and buck came close to the hotel.

Leaving the place!!

We enjoyed the location. It was amazing to relax on the veranda and watch the animals on the other side of the river. We saw Elephant, Hippos, Buffalo, Crocodiles and lots of other smaller animals. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The staff was amazing and dinner was served outside with a view on the river. We just love this place and will definitely be back soon.

Nothing to complain about really - it was a fantastic stay. The road out of Buhala and back onto the N4 can be a little dangerous as you're essentially either joining, or exiting off a main road onto the dirt road. Just be careful - that's all.

On the banks of the Crocodile River - it felt like you were IN the Kruger Park. Super comfortable thatch lodge that feels warm and inviting. I could have spent a month there.

Attention to detail and really quick to respond to questions and alternative bookings. Very friendly staff and a stunning property. Amazing being on the banks of the Crocodile River and seeing so much game from your balcony.

private Pool wasn’t clean and spoiled the special feature of the Elephant suites, peak season value for money not given (ie why not putting a Nespresso machine in the room given that so many international guests are visiting partly because of exclusive access to Leopard Creek Golf), requires a touch of uplifting (ie bed side lamps), dependent on wind you hear some noise of mine and train
