The property has a perfect location if you’re looking for an escape from city life. There is so much to do and explore on the reserve with some beautiful and easy hikes. We hiked, played croquet, mountain biked and tried the archery. The staff really go the extra mile to really make your stay an unbelievable experience and no request is too much trouble for them. You’d struggle to find a better guest experience anywhere else.

What was not to like!!! Everyone and everything is amazing. Nothing is ever a problem and all staff are very attentive and go the extra mile. We had an exceptional memorable visit and would highly recommend a stay of at least 3 nights to take in all they have to offer ♥️ Thanks everyone!!!!

the only thing was the dining room , it was cold and drafty every meal- it def needs a fire place or better heating for Winter

Our room was a bit far from the restaurants, in winter it can be a bit cold to walk at night.

Our personal guide were extremely helpful and went out of his way to show us around.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to make your stay incredible. Complete modern comfort while in the wilderness with personalised menu’s for each meal, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday.

Even in the most luxurious room we could hear our neighbours talking amplified by the thatch. The art in the main buildings is diabolical and needs a serious revisit particularly the dining area. Bad wildlife paintings of animals that don’t even occur there. Stuffy and old school.

Attention to detail and enormous care makes all the difference. Our stay could not have been better. seppi’s knowledge and manner as a guide was excellent. The personalized attention given to every guest is extraordinary. The meals far surpassed expectation. Perfect holiday. The rooms are extremely luxurious and well-considered. Nothing to fault.

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of service and food and what the weekends costs. Yes we are South Africans but I think this is a big disappointment. We received no service at most meals - needed to walk into the kitchen to ask for salt and pepper and water. No service at all. We booked a secret location dinner - where you provide exactly the same dinner thats "included" 20 meters further in the breakfast area. No special effort - yet charging us double essentially. Extremely disappointed - tourist trap. :(

Reception was lukewarm, beverage prices excessively expensive, guided drives included in the price lack any attention to detail, not on par with other top reserves in South Africa.

Beautiful location, well kept property. Great place for rest and relaxation. The scenery in the reserve is breathtaking, great dinners.

I just feel that the pricing is on a level similar to many wildlife venues such as the thorny bush portfolio etc, but the standard isn't on the same level. I felt it was over priced

Toilet did not flush properly Upholstery in room very stained I had ordered pescatarian menu and was brought a meat plate several times. I found the dining service very poor in comparison to previous visits
