There is nothing not to like about staying here. The unit is always well kept and clean.

The location is fantastic! The unit has everything you need to enjoy a stay in St Lucia and the access to the swimming pool is as is if you have the pool all to yourself.

Water pressure was light, not too bad. Would have been good to keep toilet rolls in house, staff come in every morning but we ran out on the last morning. Maybe some tea, coffee and sugar sachets being kept in the cupboard would be nice 😊

Odette was lovely. Eating area and kitchen was great. Was what we needed and meet expectations.

Loadshedding is a bit of a drag but beyond anyone's control.

The location is perfect. Could walk to restaurants, shops etc. Lots of space in the unit too with large covered outside veranda and open kitchen, overlooking a huge, clean swimming pool. Magnificent view of sunsets.

The microwave didnt work and gas didn't work on the stove, but they did sort it out eventually. The shower in one bathrooms didn't have hot water.

Cleanliness was not good on arrival. But was taken care of after our complaint. My wife encountered some cockroaches. That we only saw the host once during the complaint was somehow disappointing. It's not a beachfront location as advertised. Rather 2.5 km by car.

St Lucia is lovely. Fantastic beaches. Monkeys everywhere. Also in town. Relaxed and secure atmosphere. Spar supermarket and almost everything else is in walking distance. The terrace right next to the pool allowed us to keep an eye on our children. And the outside kitchen was great. The beds are very comfortable. Aircon in two bedrooms.

Would be nice to be able to lock the kitchen when you are out. Not just for the animals but for security.

Comfortable holiday home to share with family. Could imagine it would be loud in the summer being so close to the pool.

The name of the place is different from the sign on the road. Also unfortunately the only contact number was an international number, but with a quick email everthing was sorted. These were very small things and did not make the trip negative.

The place was very spacious, and it overlooked the pool. I like that the windows had insect proofing. The catering facilities were really good. Will definitely book there again

Contact on whatsapp had a rather rude undertone to messages - no friendly attitude. Old outdated furniture... The outdoor kitchen is a disaster. We were told that the monkeys could not open the cupboard doors (most of which had broken latches). Well, the monkeys repeatedly got every last item we had, opening all doors, urinated on all surfaces and destroyed everything in the kitchen - on multiple occasions. This outdoor kitchen is not a good idea and will eventually make someone sick. We spent a small fortune on cleaning supplies and I still do not know if it was hygenic to eat from. A concertina door of some sorts would have prevented this. Beds were very uncomfortable, bedding poor quality. Not all bedrooms had aircons, which is a necessity for a good nights sleep on vacation. This property cost more than many others offered, yet sadly provided a rather unpleasant cleaning experience with lack of sleep. Having UK visitors here was embarassing.

The outdoor verandah was great, until 8PM when security guard essentially told us we were not allowed to talk as it made a noise. So no chatting around the braai outdoors. Swimming pool is huge and well maintained. Plenty sleeping space for families.

Nothing not to like and that which may be a problem to some is just the way it is in St Lucia - monkeys raiding your breakfast by day and hippos by night that wonder around. That's just something to be aware of, not to complain about!

The town of St Lucia is a gem. The scenery and surroundings are magnificent, add to this Bushpigs Haven. Set on beautiful sub-tropical gardens, 3 bedrooms with great beds, a patio that extends and overlooks the biggest swimming pool I've ever seen at any guest house, anywhere in South Africa with a very well equipped outdoor but covered kitchen area with everything you can think of and the privacy offered and the location is unmatched. From here you can walk to anywhere in St Lucia safely.

Not a nice setup with the outside kitchen and the monkeys. For a short stay probably doable. 1 or 2 nights. I did not like going outside early for your morning coffee, the monkeys is hectic if you leave anything outside. The place needs a deep clean and some upgrades. Cockroaches was a bit bad. Would have appreciated wifi.

We enjoyed the large verendah when no one from the lodge was in the pool. The location is good, but I think every place in st lucia is walking distance. Very nice pool as well

The cockroaches in the kitchen cupboard, broken toilet. There is only a door with a curtain over that separates from the chalet behind. U can hear everything!

The apartment was musty and as it was higher than the rest of the site the smoke from the fires all came in the vents to the rooms whilst empty so when we arrived it took a while to clear.

it took 1,5 days to fix a simple knob on the shower tap. similar story for gas cilinder for cooking. staff was not unfriendly, but service could have been better/quicker. property was also in a slightly run down condition, but price quality was still very good.

It's located next to the pòol and it was hot some guests were swimming at midnight which disturbed our sleep Some beds not 100% comfortable

Next to the pool, noisy with other people braaing on your doorstep almost every night. No privacy, to busy and did not feel like a vacation due to the other quests frequently the pool area. Parking space were also not the greatest.

Everything was just perfect, rooms are spacious, has a swimming pool and braai facilities in the yard. Perfect for couples, families and group accommodation. Employees are super friendly. Ample parking space

We booked a self catering. Everything that is a kitchen must have was there. I was super impressed. The location is very easy to find, and just 1 km from the beach. Close to many grocery shops , pubs and restaurants
