Hint: almost 10km to get there are dirt/gravel road. Doable with a small car, but not very comfortable..

The owners were amazingly wonderful and kind. They made us diner, which was incredible. Together with them we saw one of the best sunsets we ever saw. Definately a place to visit when you are close.

..There are no charging spot inside the tent , so needed to go to the kitchen to charge our gadget.

A family of 7 were staying there at the time. They took over the kitchen area and the bathrooms with their stuff lying around everywhere. Not the owners fault but would've been nice if they checked and asked the family to remove their things from the bathroom counters.

The bathroom door to the mens side was left open with the lights on, so there were many bugs. But that is an easy fix.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The location is exceptional. It is remote enough to provide the wide open space and peace of the country-side, while being easily accessible by car. There are many activities to enjoy in the surrounding areas, but the best surprise was how much there is to do and enjoy at the location itself. Our next stay will definitely include days just spent enjoying the facilities. This is a home away from home with added extras to make it a unique experience - such as the wood fired pizza oven, outdoor boma and incredible sunsets, with the added benefit of a warm, welcoming and very helpful host.

The accommodation was clean and spacious and exceeded our expectations. The area is also incredibly quiet and we just loved it. Andries is a perfect host and even invited us to join à potjie dinner for his birthday! I cannot wait to go back again!

This is a real hidden gem. While it felt like I was driving out into the middle of nowhere (perhaps I was, but in a good way), the property provided everything I could have asked for. The host was fun and very friendly, making me feel like I was at home. The place is rustic and isolated, but all in the best way possible. I didn’t get to go on a hike with the host but I got to see some of the surrounding area and I would suggest it if you can.

The route leading up to the accommodation but we do understand why it has to be like that. One has to be prepared for the bumpy ride.

The owner/host was very welcoming and had genuine energy. We loved the open outdoors, rustic feel and the disconnect from the city life. It's definitely a place to go when you want to recharge. Again, the host was AMAZING!!!! We loved the meaning of the name Cadeau and why Andries chose it. When you go visit, ask him about it.

Great view, beautiful scenery and wonderul hosts but, far from things for your general tourist. It was great for us! There are scenic hiking opportunities that we unfortunately didnt have time for. These hikes are through very untouched pieces of the coast line. The advert on bookings.com does not advertise the hikes available. However, if you are considering this accomodation option, definitely budget for the hikes on offer! Definitely worth the money instead over what Tsitsikamma nature reserve has to offer. If you like the road less traveled.

Most friendly Owner and staff workers. Andries (Owner) made us feel so welcomed. We came in as guests and definitely left as friends. We planned to stay for one night, then stayed for another 2...because of the amazing stay, we even invited a friend too. Best home away from home place to be at 💙📍 #unknowndestinations
