I would have liked a kettle and coffee station inside the room, however the communial station was still sufficient.

Extremely friendly staff that were very helpful with making arrangements to accommodate my very late arrival. Comfortable bed and a fantastic breakfast to follow it up.

Curtains were not block out so the room was very light at night. Lights at the fence were on and were too bright. Really a problem. Need a bench on which to place suitcase also no little table. I really liked the place though. Food was excellent

On the weekend, it is pretty quiet, but its located on a main road in/out of town, so there is some traffic noise early in the morning.

The room is a decent size with a very large bathroom. Its great to have a restaurant on site and when it is sunny the outdoors seating area must be a real draw. The breakfast was really good. The staff were very friendly and when I left my phone charger behind, Andrew ensured that I was able to collect it in Cape Town.

The upstairs was absolutely beautiful but hot when the load shedding was on. Not the fault of the owner at all.

What an amazing courtyard! Super friendly staff, excellent chicken livers and fantastic cold drinks. The pool area is lovely and pool cottages, although we stayed above the restaurant, looked cool and quiet.

The new owners are working hard on the general maintenance since recently taking over, and loadshedding can cause the normal issues.

Great location Riebeek Kasteel, friendly staff and spacious comfy loft apartment. Our dinner first night was excellent, including the breakfast every morning.We explored other eateries during our 3 days.

Pool area, pool chairs in poor condition. Some leaves on the pol, which is surrounded by trees.

Nice property overall. The pool and some of the outside areas could do with some work. It’s shabby chic style but some aspects are too rustic. Pool area was ok, not great. Restaurant food was good standard and good value. Rooms are well decorated in a rustic French Manor House style. Good ac. Riebeek is a charming small town with 5 - 6 good restaurant’s. Worth a visit, much nicer than Robertson and Montegue where we came from.

We could see that a few small things in the bathroom needed maintenance, but nothing that made our stay less comfortable. The aircon didn't do such a good job cooling the room down, but we were happy to have one none the less.

Our room was lovely and spacious and we loved that we had access to the pool in the courtyard. The courtyard was serene and relaxing. Our host was friendly, outgoing and very hospitable.

Breakfasts were under-catered - small selection. Access to room needs upgrading - stairs are quite inconvenient. Electrical plug-points were scarce and did not work - no coffee could be made !!!

Accommodation was comfortable, with a good-sized bed and good facilities. Dinners were well-catered. Pool area was conveniently secluded. Owner was really friendly and welcoming.

Traffic noise from the main road was a bit disruptive (but not terrible). A backup battery/powerbank for the wifi router during loadshedding would have been great.
