The beautifully decorated chalet was spacious and comfortable and very affordable. The resort was well looked after, and had all the amenities for a family vacation. Staff were efficient, organised and very friendly. The owner was very helpful and accommodating with any queries we had.

The unit was neat, clean and had all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. The owners of the unit were very helpful and even did our laundry as the washing machine was in for a service. A dishwasher arrived while we were there and that was very useful too. Had an enjoyable stay and will definately return.

Bed side table lamp was broken when we moved in. Tap in kitchen was also not in good working order. The main bathroom also smells all the time.

I booked a house for 6 people. It was very nice but small. For a small extra price they upgraded us to a VERY nice villa. It is wonderfulp!!! It was spacious with a big stoep and braai. Is was also very clean. The administators of Cambalala was very helpful and friendly. Near the Pambeni gate but also on a golfcourse. Can really recommend it!

Mouldy smell in bathrooms

Great value for money for the Kruger Park region. The apartment is refurbished, with all rooms air-conditioned. Linen and furniture are of a high standard. It is in a better condition than the standard chalets in Kruger Park Lodge. The lodge facilities are good and is set in a relaxing environment..

Patio stove and having a bathroom upstairs

The location was great..... However, the patio gas stove was not working. From the chalet to the exit, it wasn't very easy to navigate. I'd recommend more user friendly signage.

In another Cambalalas had regular 3 rooms with 3 batrooms. ( I was in another Cambalala in the hotel several times ) Here there 3 rooms and just 2 bathrooms only. I mean it is not for me "Cambalala" like another houses. We expected 1 x DBL + 2 x SGL and so We are not satisfied at all. If You need just 2 rooms so it is OK.

We had a few small problems like the bedside lamp was broken and no ice trays. The carpet near the TV upstairs needs to be cleaned in Unit 235.

I checked in on the 10th of November 2023,I informed the reception and the lady who runs the timeshare of the owner that the lights on the outside were not working by the braai area,they send out a maintenance guy which informed me that the problem can only be resolved during the day,I called the lodge 8 times on the 11th of November 2023 which was the following day,they only despatched someone at 6pm on the 11th where the problem could not be resolved.The cable needed to be replaced which the maintenance guy could repair which was going to be on the owner’s cost,the owner of the lodge refused for maintenance to repair because they never want to cover the costs so basically I stayed there 2 nights with no outdoor lighting so I couldn’t make supper for my family as both evenings we planned to have a bbq

The chalets unulit allocated to us had everything we wanted except the gas stove, which was a disadvantage during loadshedding. The rest met our expectations.

I wouldn't term the units as luxury. They are a lot smaller in actual size than appears in the photo's. The grouting in the showers is black and a tile missing in the shower floor, leaving sharp edges. The emergency lights that came on with load shedding are not nearly enough and in the one unit, they kept dimming. We had to ask for toilet paper and they don't provide soap for the dishwasher.

Location. Nice and private - overlooking a little dam, which was very peaceful. The beds were comfortable.

The cupboards and drawers needs attention, front door and patio door locks did not work - maintenance fixed the front door lock. Main bedroom mattress very soft and "shaky"and the ovenfloor is rusting. Loadshedding leaves one without lights, TV, WiFi and MTN reception. Minimal emergency lighting installed - but in RSA one should come prepared!

Reasonably close to the Phabeni gate, tranquil surroundings and quiet at night. Nice lawns (including the golf course fairways) the wildlife within the property is a bonus, although the apes can become a nuisance ;0)

There was no generator leaving the unit dark and cold during loadshedding. The Aircon’s didn’t have a heat function and the oil heaters weren’t very effective. The loft didn’t have a door

The aircons it the 2 down stair bedrooms did not get cold. The one in the main bedroom were nor able to change the settings at at all.

It was in a shady spot and very dark. The unit is mouldy. The zink cupboard is mouldy, all the chopping boards were beyond use. Bathroom ceiling also mouldy.
