Staff member wasn't user friendly on check in. They also inflated prices, even though it was later sorted out.

It's a safe luxurious place in a quiet place.

We were unable to sleep as there was a group of people within the facility, booked right next to our room who were making a lot of noise. This was around 01h00 up to 03h00 am. I wish there the facility could ensure that there are strict rules around this for the comfort of every guest booked in there.

The place and the facilities are nice, it's good value for money. Nicely located.

ON OUR ARRIVAL: The lady receptionist did not indicate where we could braai and she was very loud on her phone calls during our stay until a gentleman took over, he was LOVELY and made us feel at home. (her lift at the gate was playing VERY loud music and hooting away) it set the tone for a NOT so peaceful evening and when the Gentleman took over, he made it so much better. No tumble dryer, no wash basin to wash our dishes and no outside bins to throw our bones and meat trays after our braai. No sharp knives OR braai tongs. The Gentleman tried very nicely to assist us where he could.

I liked the look and the modern style and the shower was great with big space in the room!

Generator working during loadshedding.

Lovely place, pity about the loadshedding. Loadshedding was dreadful, very hot and humid during this period. My vehicle's wheel ended up in a hole that was formed due to rain in the parking area. The staff had to assist in retrieving my vehicle.

We experienced a power outage and the establishment did not have a generator. There were no emergency lights in the walkways or the room & bathroom. We had to use our cellphone torches and had nowhere to then charge our phones. Staff & management did not check if we needed anything during the power outage. We could not use the room facilities the next morning and the food we had bought to eat in the morning had been spoiled which forced us to check out earlier. Very disappointing.

The establishment was aesthetically beautiful. Room & facilities were clean and neat. Ample parking. Easy to find & check in was simple.

I didn't like that there was no stove and a normal knife and it is not specified in their description. Their freezer was the worst. I had to throw away a six pack of magnum ice-cream. And what I didn't like most is that they didn't have a sink to wash dishes, we had to use the bathroom sink😑. I know know the staff was there and willing to help but sometimes one needs to do their own thing.

1. Noise levels from other guests at all hours of the night. 2. The deposit required for swimming towels was not advised and we did not have cash. We wanted to use towels on beach and were not allowed. 3. Plugs and lights at bed side were not working.

When I was departing I was requested to sort out my payment which hadn’t cleared. The lady at reception made a call to inquire whether my payment had been received. This was fine. The only issue is that when she got on the call she started talking to the person on the line about noisy guests and all their issues which I felt was a conversation to be had in my absence. I had to kindly remind her that I have to get going which is only when she inquired. I am not used to this and found it very odd.

We had to wash dishes in the bathroom - no kitchenette at Room 103. The ladies were too noisy early in the morning due to the rooms being by the reception.

There was not breakfast and even though we had a self catering room, there was not enough cutlery in our room. We liked the ambiance, the cleanliness and set up except that in terms of cupboards we felt too squeezed, no kitchen sink at room 103

We were told not to laugh when we first arrived on the Friday evening. My brother had just laughed a bit loud just once when we made a small joke whilst sitting on the veranda preparing the fire for an evening braai. We were warned that if we laughed like that again we will all be escourted off the premises. We found that very unreasonable as we had just got together and sat down to enjoy each other's company and was very disappointed. The place was good but we were disappointed with the way we were treated 💔

The hotel attracted young, noisy guests with different parties playing loud music well into the early hours each of the three nights of my stay. The position of the communal pool and terrace directly in front of all of the rooms means there's no escape for anyone wanting to sleep. Car park is small and on a steep hill.
