Marianne was a lovely host and always available and helpful - the Italian style house was stunning. The sunset and views are beautiful.

Casa mori is a marvellous place and hosts were super friendly and also provided helpful advice were to go for wine tasting and where to eat. Breakfast provided was absolutely excellent. When I am around there I would definitely stay there again.

Bathrooms could do with updating. Shower not the best! No fridge in the rooms. Had use one shelf of a fridge in the main house. Apart from that everything was great

That we didn't stay long enough :) Myself and my husband were only in Stellenbosch for 2 nights for a friends wedding.

Everything! What a stunning house, blows you away. We were greeted by the host who was so sweet, told us about the story behind the house, how it was built. The guy is Italian and the Wife is South African, they built the house and it has a very Mediterranean vibe. They make their own pasta, olive oil and other bits & bobs. It feels super homely, I loved how classic the villa felt with the brick work and decor. Bedroom was really comfortable, scenery it's absolutely beautiful you can't get enough of the garden and views. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when we are back in Cap Town.

Our room did not have aircon. During the day it became quite hot. The fan helped a bit. As we only had a small car with not much PS it was a bit difficult to drive the gravel road upwards.

The area is absolutely stunning. You feel like being on a Tuscany hill. There is a phenomenal panoramic view which includes Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Best view ever. The house is built of solid rocks, fantastic architecture with great level of details including authentic interior style. The hosts are very friendly, Marilyn made fantastic breakfast and would have offered to cook dinner as well.

Great views over the winefields and very nice mediterranian style rooms with patio and comfortable seats. We had an in-house dinner that was excellent. The state produces it own olive oil and wine. Excellent and quit place in the Stellenbosch-Paarl region. Down the hill is a beautiful golfcourse.

The house is a stunning Tuscan house, designed with exquisite taste by the lovely owners who run it. Everything is perfect, the breakfast is out of this world, and the 3 dogs make you feel even more at home. My only regret is that I did not stay longer, this place is the best value for money you will find in the region!

Casa Mori is not so easy to find for the taxis. If you need an early morning transfer to the airport, make sure you pre-book your ride the night before. Casa Mori is not within walking distance of the town of Stellenbosch (approximately 10km). The bathroom is huge and spotlessly clean, but it has no doors, which could be a privacy issue to me.

Casa Mori is a charming Tuscan-styled villa on the outskirts of Stellenbosch on the top of a hill with stunning views across the countryside. We arrived on a rainy overcast day and decided to stay in and enjoy our extremely large and beautifully furnished room. We purchased some tasty house wine from the Casa Mori vineyard and soaked up the views and ambiance for the afternoon. We had prearranged with the owners to have dinner in the guest dining room. It was warm and welcoming with candles and a roaring log fireplace. The food was a wonderful home cooked affair. We were made to feel very welcome in this family run guesthouse. As we did not have time for breakfast in the morning, we were very kindly given a small breakfast bag to take with us. It is a perfect countryside retreat away from big towns and noisy roads.
