The restaurant needs to have a larger menu. Check in should be earlier than 3 pm.

Shop too expensive. Paid R80 for a tin of doom. R45 for 2ltr coke. Crazy expensive. Also the road crossing the river to get to the resort when it's raining not easy.

We experienced a power outage for half the day which was very inconvenient. Wasted valuable time awaiting power to resume as normal .

The walking trail to the dam is not in the best condition and there's overgrown grass on the trail making it slippery at times. This can be improved.

Beautiful location and setup. Whilst the road to the lodge is damaged,it is drivable and filled with sand which makes it better. Check-in was a pleasure.The accommodation is pristine and was pleasantly surprised the splash pool was heated. The WiFi speed is good enough. Backup power kicks in during certain slots so plan accordingly. The beauty spa was very good. The quad biking was good, although for a 1hr tour,it gets repetitive. The beach area is amazing.

The Bell & Whistle restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food was overcooked and the waitress was rude.

The staff at reception were lazy.at first our key did open our room.walked back to reception and they gave us another key.then the second key didn't work and we had to walk back.then they were giving us another key and I asked them to go themselves and make sure it works while we have dinner. After dinner we went to fetch new key.they gave us master key saying this is fine and was tested.we go up to the room opened the door to find another couple in here. That was really unprofessional of the staff at cayley lodge.

Very poor attitude of the 2 manager guys stationed at the log cabin down at the activities this weekend. Load shedding - the generator should be timed to switch on with the load shedding hours daily Instead of being timed to switch on at random fixed hours of the day. Definitely NEED aircons , especially during the summer , it gets very hot in the chalet Especially during load shedding when the ceiling fan does not work. Very bad road leading up to resort - urgent road resurfacing & maintenance needed. Better kids play area required. For babies & toddlers No Stroller & wheelchair access

Balcony light wasn't functioning properly, too dull. Central jacuzzi should be heated. Kids playroom too dull and boring.

After a long trip we arrived at 14:00 and were told we had to wait until the correct check in time which is 15:00. Loadshedding throughout the night, no emergency lights in the rooms. Wifi terribly slow. The pool cover didnt have hooks to secure which meant having to be on high alert with our 3 year old.

We were allocated a room right by the playground which was great as we had two small children with us. Beautiful view and loved the heated pool.
