Fabulous location and lovely swimming pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the meals very good.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!!!!!

The stunning location. The beautiful room with wonderful view and facilities, including the outside shower if you want to experience that pleasure. Now with two swimming pools, again both with amazing views. The very charming and professional staff, who can not do enough for you, and the delicious breakfast. Unfortunately only had one night, but can't wait to return.

It would have been good to to able to open a window at night. Unfortunately there were no screens in place to keep out bugs or other creatures. Better coffee is definitely needed.

Breakfast was very good but the coffee was not. Absolutely tasteless and all three of us thought the same…such a pity as the rest was excellent.

Our room was on the back side is without view and the chairs outside are just on a dirty ground

The location is beautyful! The terrace for dinner has very nice view. Do not book the room without view!

We should have stayed longer .

All the staff were super friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The pool area had a stunning view and was very clean. Towels available by the pool a all times. Water bottles given on arrival with names on and in reception cold water so you could fill up. Some lovely trips on offer, we took the rock art tour with David who really knows his cave art. Fantastic trip then star talk from Craig in the evening really interesting. Food was all gorgeous, bed super comfortable . Just a fantastic experience in a stunning location.

Amazing venue - staff incredible - surprise romantic meals and candles in room with bubble baths waiting after our dinner … such an amazing touch when we were not even celebrating any special occasion … Carole the therapist gives the best massage ever ….. you can’t miss that ! Garths food is out of this world and the waiters and management were so friendly, helpful and always present when you needed them …..

This was the second time we was here. We was here 2 years ago in November 2019 and that is the reason we are back. It's fantastic little place, with great staff and Management ( Craig and his wife( sorry can't remember your name )). Last time we had a great tour the cave paintings. We started at 0530 as it was VERY VERY hot - up to 42 degrees ! But a fantastic tour with a very good guide, so this time we took the mountin tour and also the tour on the damm. It wasn't the biggest of boats, so it was Craig as the "captain", med and my wife and a couple from Capetown and then it was full. VERY windy ( small waves) and the damm is very loong - 22km. Craig told us about the damm and we also stopped for some drinks. Nice tour, but the wind wasn't that nice. The mountin tour with Craig was a great trip as well. Quiet cold - down to +10 degrees up in the mountins. But it was very interesting to move around among great rock formations and great views. We stopped at Cederberg Wines for a wine tasting and we also had our lunch there - as the weather wasn't the best. Wines from Cederberg are very very good - so if you haven't tried them - please do ! Last time we stayed in the Classic Room( mountin views ) and it was good and now this time in one of the suites - PERFECT! Fantastic room and views ! Did sleep like a king ! The food is still very very good - but last time it was slightly better. But the service is still fantastic ! It's a place to love and to come back to, many times more....

The entire staff are delightful and willing to please. The location is gorgeous, and is surrounded by beautiful colourful mountains. The food is delicious, presented with panashe. The e extra opportunities of doing day trips offered by the lodge is a huge highlight.
