Arrived in a dirty apartment the dust was everywhere especially the bedroom and bathroom the pot got rust I had to wash everything before I use it.

It was amazing place to be. The beach is close by the restaurant is good.

Nothing really, the hosts were exceptional and the facilities and location were great. I wouldn't change anything to be quite honest.

It would be nice to provide very basic things, like coffee, sugar, tea, shower gel and shampoo and a little bottle of lotion. The toilet needs fixing. Bath tab and shower could be modernized to make it even more nicer . It would be nice to park car right in front of the flat instead of parking at the parking which is a level up and far away from the flat. It was not easy finding the place. The security guard was kind enough to allow us to park in front of the flat. The couch feels/looks like it might collapse under one. Needs checking/replacement.

The Wifi was great. Place was very clean and cosy. Linen clean.

The hosts were I'll mannered. On arrival I asked a man who was in an office located by the pool....he very rudely told me he knows nothing about check ins.. who did I book with is who I should contact

Tumble dryer did not work. There was no hand soap in toilet. The coffee was just enough for 1use for 4 people had to buy our own . On departure the cleaning lady came in at 9 while we were still busy . We needed to book out at 12pm but felt rushed with her in the flat so left early.

Close to the beach and shops Full DStv and Netflix Fast wifi Aircon very nice. Fans worked. Swimming pool clean and very warm.

We were 3 persons, 3rd bed Is sofa and not so much comfortable. kitchen equipment (glasses...) was not enough, only like for 2persons. No soap for hand washing at bathroom (no shower gel, no hairdrier).

Nice apartment, good location. Good communication with owner regarding ch/in instruction.

Although not a major issue and it certainly didn't dampen the stay, but passage lights don't work neither did the two beside lights. One didn't have a globe and the other was unplugged. No idea where to plug in without moving the heavy beds. There was only one wine glass. The tumble dryer didn't work although it was plugged in and switch up. The pedestrian gate didn't work either but again, not a major issue. This is a bit nit-picky and I'm sure it's because we are spoilt and use bath sheets at home, but being tall people, bigger bath towels could have been provided.

The fact that it suited our requirements perfectly, had an ample view of the sea and easy access to the beach. The unit was clean and the bonus was the undercover and safe parking for the car. Ballito / Chaka's Rock / Salt Rock are not short of great places to eat out and as we were celebrating an anniversary (i.e I wasn't cooking), we were thoroughly spoilt with some delicious meals. The beaches are generally clean. The boardwalk provides a lovely option to view the scenery, but then again, NOTHING beats the feel of the sea sand underfoot and waves lapping around your ankles. The take-away shop along the path to the beach, sells awesome soft serve ice-cream which was very refreshing along our walks. That part of the coastline will always hold magical memories for us.

Although when making the booking through booking.com, there is a section asking estimated time of arrival and preferred check-in time, we noted for arrival and check-in from 11am. When nearing Ballito, we contacted the property at 10:30 only to be told we are only able to check in from 3pm (which is the norm) but what is the point of mentioning and expected time of arrival/check-in if this is simply ignored? At no point from time the booking was made till the check in date were we told no and that the expected time of arrival/check-in cannot be accomodated.

Easy check-in/check-out. Very neat, tidy and spacious apartment. Great value for money. Amaizing sea views. Relaxed enviroment and well maintained complex. Less than a five minute walk to the beach and tidal pools. Close to shops and other amenities.
