I couldn't get to the snow 😞 , loading shedding was a real damper although there was mobile lights , a generator would have been a bonus.

Everything is beyond expectations it was an amazing place and a wonderful environment. It's safe and absolutely neat. The management team was exceptional. Everything is at the facility which you won't find at other self catering Chalets. Definitely will be going back and the helpers are wonderful and very polite.

As load-shedding is most definitely not a new thing in SA we would have expected the place to be better equipped in terms of back-up lighting. The existing light worked for 15 mins only. The resort and campsite across the road had back-up power which made no sense why this place did not. Extreme weather also caused sporadic blackouts so a more efficient back-up system (at least lighting) would be great especially at a accommodation rate of just under $200/night

Beautiful clean home. The owner prepared us for loadshedding. Not having electricity on this property is not a problem, just go outside and watch the stars. There are lovely walks. The shop is within walking distance, and it has everything you need as far as souvenirs and groceries are concerned. This was our second visit, and definitely not the last. Highly recommended. Bring binoculars if you enjoy bird watching.

Crockery needs an upgrade. Other than that everything was perfect.

The unit was neat. The scenary was beautiful. It was quiet and serene, great place to relax. A nice play area for the kids. Would definitely be back.

Maybe a bit of wood for the fireplace. We arrived at 16:45 to find our keys in an envelope at reception and we had to get wood from the pub. They could only spare us one bundle. Perhaps the glasses and crockery could be replaced. Sadly it seems guests don't always respect these items.

Lovely location, quiet, and very comfortable. Perfectly situated for many activities in the surrounding area. Very helpful, communicative hosts. We will be back!

Loadshedding proved a real bane, in these times perhaps a gas cooker could beprovided? Cooking utensils like spoons, knives need upgrading. All else were good.

Beautiful setting. Views were stunning! Easy to hike trails around the property. Appreciated the underfloor heating and heaters in the bathroom especially in the cold evening. The unit was clean and serviced. We saw duiker and zebra around the property, which was amazing!Loads of restuarants and bakeries a short drive away. Reception and booking agents were very accomadating answered my queries promptly. We had an awesome stay and would book again for sure!

Just the needs an iron and ironing board.

The house was clean an tidy..we enjoyed the peace an quite. The house offered heaters in every room. It was spacious. The out door amenities the kids enjoyed.
