We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaWould love to have some floor rugs in the room. It’s hard to avoid sand on shoes when returning to your room. There’s a need for a place to wipe feet at the balcony door and next to the bed.
Hotel location is great - with access to beach, restaurants and shops. View from my 2nd floor room was amazing. The restaurant serves some great food and the bar space was a fun place to hang out.

Really clean, nice staff, fast and efficient. Very helpful! I had a lovely stay! The staff are a great attribute, this includes the cleaning team and the restaurant as well as the front desk.

The room with the view was amazing! Right there where the beach is and overlooking the boulevard, mountain, and ocean. We ran Chapmans Peak twice what was very convenient having the hotel right next to it. Furthermore the restaurant was a 10 out of 10, the waiters/waitresses super friendly and our meals were amazing. Definitely a next time!

United KingdomWe loved everything about Houtbay and the Chapmans Peak Hotel. Nothing not to like! This was by far our favourite destination in Cape Town and the Peninsula. The tranquil atmosphere and friendly people makes it a gem in the area.
The room was exquisite! Beautifully furnished with an open view bathroom (that can be closed if wanted) but it is wonderful to take in the view on the beach from there as well. The balcony overlooks the beach and the mountains and is a lovely relaxing space to sit and have a sundowner. The restaurant has a great menu and one can sit on the veranda having dinner or lunch. The hotel swimming pool also has a fabulous view on Houtbay. The hotel is walking distance from all the top restaurants and across the road from the beach.

Breakfast was very good as were the evening meals. Rooms were spacious with a nice large bed.

I would like to thank the guy who welcomed us on the first day of our stay on Monday. That night we went to a restaurant to eat supper and we were welcomed by Goodwill woooooooow what a friendly gentleman. His service was over the moon. Tuesday morning oh my gosh the lady by the name of Nonzamo welcomed us with a friendly smile. We felt at home the whole week because of her. Thank you Noma we really appreciate your work❤️❤️. The only problem is the restaurant doesn't have a variety especially breakfast. Can you please improve on that. Even the menu for lunch and supper . The lady who was cleaning for us was not friendly at all even when you greet her, she doesn't show the smile. But apart from that lady all the staff there are friendly especially the morning one woooooooow 🙌🙌🙌🙌. Keep up the good work I will definitely be coming back. Oh and one thing I fell in love with was your pool woooooooow the view 👌👌.
