Next time please include the breakfast into the bed or room cost.

We requested and when calling to confirm a few weeks ago told we would have rooms across from each other , and we specifically requested 2 single beds in each of the rooms as we are two moms traveling with our teenage sons . When we booked in we had inter leading rooms with queen beds . We had to ask for it to be changed . The ironing board we requested on check on did not arrive , we had only one towel for two guests in my bedroom . We requested another . It didn’t arrive . My son and I shared a towel the first night . The next day we again requested an iron and additional towels . Again it didn’t arrive . When we went down to for dinner we went past reception and again requested the items after which it was finally delivered to our room but the iron had huge burn patches on it so marked the clothes when using it . We had to leave the hotel at 5:50 am sharp to ensure we arrive at the kid’s competition in time . On Saturday morning as we were leaving loadshedding kicked in and the boom to leave underground parking closed as we were going out (it almost hit my car) . We called security and they kept saying it will work again momentarily. It didn’t , after waiting and waiting they finally sent someone to go and E quite . It took us nearly ten min to get out , which almost made us late for our plans . Morning the hotel can do about it but the noise from The taxi drivers in the road sitting hooting for passengers in the evening was terribly annoying . Some guys sit and literally hoot continuously until all their passengers arrive . It’s very noisy and quite frustrating.

The buffet breakfast was not worth the money. It was cold and the selection not what I would expect for the price being charged. I regretted not going out for my breakfast. There should be more plug sockets in the rooms. Not just by the table but beside the beds as well. The TV channels on offer were shocking.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities were great. The location was perfect.

The gym is very basic. We had some issues with the payment i.e., how much was due (it changes thrice during the stay) but these were ultimately resolved.

If you are sound sensitive then be careful to ask for a room facing the pool and not facing the main road. Hotel is located in a very vibrant part of Pretoria that never sleeps. Additionally ask to be in a room by the lifts and not be the air vents which are situated outside the rooms that are furthest from the lifts. This noise kept me up. I specifically requested a room facing the pool on my booking but they neglected to honour that originally. They did make a plan for me however. So make sure to call and assert your preferences so they can accomodate you

I liked everything about the hotel. The hotel must consider getting some refredgerators for the rooms.
