I would have liked to have my own bathroom and toilet, en suite. I felt that the car was not safe enough because it could not go through to the back yard. I think there should be space for the car to hide from passers by who could be criminals.

It's a bit close to the informal settlement. Two lights weren't working. One in bedroom and the other outside backdoor.

Clean, has everything you need. Secure front gate that can lock. Check in was easy and without any problems.

All areas covered... braai, inside cooking amenities, cutlery and utensils, DSTV, beautiful. Bedding... everything. Excellent value for money. Definitely staying there again after staying at multiple places in Clarens. Fantastic for family, couples and small groups. Thx Monique well done.

The wifi wasn't great, it was barely there at times, and reception in general seems spotty in Clarens. Our biggest complaint would be the giant shrub in front of the house. It spoils the view, it literally is mountainous in stature. It would be lovely to be able to see the whole mountain range when enjoying a drink or meal on the stoep, or even from the lounge, but the weird shaped shrub obstructs that view.

The house is very clean, which was a main reason for booking, it got great reviews on the superb cleanliness. The bathroom is also modern and very clean, we were a bit disappointed when we discovered there wasn't a guest toilet, as that was one of the other main reasons for booking, we thought the unit did come with one as that is what we read on Booking dot com. The beds were comfortable, lovely extra blankets were provided, although we took extra along as it was very cold at night. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with all one needs for self-catering. I would advise reading the instructions for the fireplace properly! The location and proximity to the main drag in town is perfect as well. Honestly couldn't imagine a more perfect spot! We can also imagine that it would be an ideal place to rent in summer. We ran about half an hour late with check-out and our host was very accommodating with that. The host also helped us when we couldn't figure out the lock on the gate, we are very grateful for their speedy response!

Security - No garage. It's a non smoking place, but some of the bedding smelt of smoke.

Only thing that I'd like to see is a big dustbin outside the unit.

It immediately made me feel like it's my own home. The unit was really clean. I was super relaxed with my 3 nights here. Oh, and the fireplace made it even more enjoyable on a cold winter night!

This venue is 100% perfect. so lovely and warm. It's very clean and tidy!!!! It's very close to all the restaurants. Monique is so friendly and kind. TV can connect directly to youtube, Netfilx. Love this place :-)
