Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TO BE HONESTY NOTHING OF MY PALLET MET MY EXPECTATION. MY WIFE WAS ILL TREATED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE STAFF. DUE TO THE FACT SHE WAS WITH ME. THE PLACE IS LITERALLY FALLING APART AND THE STAFF SERVICE WERE VERY POOR UNFORTUNATELY. WERE WERE MADE TO VACATE THE HOTEL ON CHRISTMAS DAY HAD TO FIND AN EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION. BRIDGET WAS VERY HORRIBLE AND BITTER TOWARDS MY WIFE FOR WHATEVER REASON SHE HAD.

LesothoThere was no speed point to process payment, had to go out to withdraw cash. The list they could have done was to deduct from my card as I had provided it in my booking. The music was loud and when we arrived there were no towels in the room, only arrived later on. The only one mat provided in the bathroom was dirty. The security at the gate does not speak other languages except for Zulu, not even English so it was hard to communicate.

South AfricaHad to reverse on a busy road to enter at the correct gate numbered 59 and not 61 as per address on website. Arrived to no receptionist, was assisted by cleaner who quickly went and prepared a room whilst I waited at reception. Room ceiling very dirty with hole as one down light was removed and not replaced. The door to the balcony could not lock which made me feel very unsafe. I requested the helper to vacuum the carpet as it was noticeably dirty.

South AfricaThere are no management whatsoever! The room was not ready although we went especially there early to check in before the event. Furniture in rooms falls apart. No maintenance. No soap or coffee, we had to go to a kitchen to look for coffee ourselves low quality coffee so note to self "take your own coffee" No one at very dirty front desk on arrival or departure. Carpet in reception needs replacement.Towels not cleaned properly.
The Room was stunning and the hotel has a lot of potential. From a national magazine so this could have been an opportunity for them. Great location and affordable for buisiness drop-ins.

South AfricaI walked in the guy at the reception was on his phone right in front of us, security guard asked us to sit on next to a coffee ttable that had a nail paint and finger prints all over that table, when we got to our room, the toilet wasnt properly flashed, looked like they had day vistors in that room before we arrived and the dustbin had their mess too.
