All was superb except having one drying towel in the room.

We arrived 10 minutes after the earliest check-in time. The carpet was dirty, the vanity desk and wall mirror were delapidated and dangerously loose, there was no toilet paper nor towels nor soap nor shamoo, etc. There were also no bulb in one of the lamps, and one of the bedside table glass-tops was shattered. As a journalist I insisted on speaking to the owner. She was very disappointed to hear about my complaints, adding that she constantly remind her staff that they shoud keep the rooms in good condition. My wife and I refused to settle in and did not stay. We had to move to another hotel in the area. I insist on a full refund. This is the second utterly bad experience after booking though Booking.com - The previous occasion was about two years ago in Blaawberg, Cape Town, when there was no room available after booking and pre-paying the full amount.

The staff were friendly and tried to offer alternatives upon seeing and realising our legitimate reasons for not wanting to stay at the hotel. Please refer toour complaints below.

The bathrooms are very dirty, especially the shower. There's always no soap. The staff never greats accept for the gentleman from Zimbabwe with dreadlocks.

The rooms are big. The towels are always warm.

The place is nowhere near classification of a boutique hotel. Information on the website states that it a 4 Star hotel but it is misleading, it is more like a 1,5 star. Not impressed at all

UNPROFESSIONALISM WAS THE FUNDAMENTAL ISSUE WITH THE HOTEL SERVICES AS OVERAL.

TO BE HONESTY NOTHING OF MY PALLET MET MY EXPECTATION. MY WIFE WAS ILL TREATED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE STAFF. DUE TO THE FACT SHE WAS WITH ME. THE PLACE IS LITERALLY FALLING APART AND THE STAFF SERVICE WERE VERY POOR UNFORTUNATELY. WERE WERE MADE TO VACATE THE HOTEL ON CHRISTMAS DAY HAD TO FIND AN EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION. BRIDGET WAS VERY HORRIBLE AND BITTER TOWARDS MY WIFE FOR WHATEVER REASON SHE HAD.

Did not really feel welcomed. No rules was explained on arrival. I thought the accommodation came with room service. I was wrong. The pool looked dirty.

There was a noisy neighbor (in the room next door) that the staff can't control apparently because she had a long booking. They just gave an excuse that today she was drunk, that she was not normally like this and she would go out soon...

There was no speed point to process payment, had to go out to withdraw cash. The list they could have done was to deduct from my card as I had provided it in my booking. The music was loud and when we arrived there were no towels in the room, only arrived later on. The only one mat provided in the bathroom was dirty. The security at the gate does not speak other languages except for Zulu, not even English so it was hard to communicate.

Almost everything! Doors were not locking so we felt unsafe. The stuff is clueless about everything and when you need them they are nowhere to be found. Their pillow cases were dirty. We had to ask for a towel change because not Only were the towels torn out but they were dirty too

Had to reverse on a busy road to enter at the correct gate numbered 59 and not 61 as per address on website. Arrived to no receptionist, was assisted by cleaner who quickly went and prepared a room whilst I waited at reception. Room ceiling very dirty with hole as one down light was removed and not replaced. The door to the balcony could not lock which made me feel very unsafe. I requested the helper to vacuum the carpet as it was noticeably dirty.
