THE POOL AND THE PUTT PUTT WAS STUNNING FOR MY SON. CLEAN FACILITY AND HOUSE KEEPING.

Only issue we had was with one of the bathrooms, sink and shower drain kept clogging. Water was not the cleanest , so bottled water is recommended for cooking and drinking.

Unit was clean, well decorated, quiet and peaceful, in the heart of nature. The location was fantastic, many shopping malls and great restaurants in the vicinity, and quick drive to the Kruger National Park. Great resort, lots of wildlife. Front desk, Security and cleaning staff was friendly and welcoming.

The place does not look like it does on the booking app in terms of the fascilities on the property, apart from the units the other fascilities look like they haven't been maintained for a while.

The property is loacted in such a beautiful location that give you the feel of being out in the wild but if you drive 5KM you have malls etc so it is very convinient.

The problem is, there is no WiFi at the rooms, we had to walk about 300m to the reception to access network 🛜. And these days you need to be relaxed in your room with WiFi access in every corner of the house.

The resort is good if you plan to just sleep there and be out and about during the day. Unfortunately the condition of the resort itself has deteriorated alot over the years and there is really not much to do other than sit on the porch or take a walk when you are there. But for the price we paid for 6 nights it was really good enough for what we wanted at the time. It felt quite save inside the resort and security was visible. Management were very helpfull and took notice and acted to our requests. Definately not a luxury resort if that is what you are looking for, but good enough if simplicity is the way you roll.

The water was not clean and we were not given a warning before going to the chalet. Clean water for at least brushing the teeth first night was not provided. The bedrooms had sone funny smell

The facilities are old and noted that the Resort group is selling off the property from their portfolio hence the lacknof maintenance. The property need serious revamping and restore its former glory.

On the second day there was no electricity from 08:00 until 15:00

There are a few things... Jacuzzi was empty... So we thought it's fine, because we will use the spa bath... The spa bath was not working... During load shedding, there is an emergency light that didn't work... We were given 2 candles, but no candle holders, so we used saucers. Door handle in the bathroom on the inside was broken, resulting in not being able to close the door whilst using the facility... Kitchen sink tap was loose... We were there in 2017 as a part of our honeymoon and it was great. Things have just gone a bit down since then. We get that Covid has not been easy on everyone, but these are all slight maintenance issues that do not cost a lot of money. Very sad to have seen the overall state of the place.

The lodge should consider investing in a generator or an inverter due to loadshedding or atleast give rechargeable lights for load shedding instead of candles. The network reception is extremely poor. The bedroom was slightly chilly so they should supply heaters in winter

The grounds need a lot of work. It's very run down. Pool area is very poor. The interior of our chalet was unexpectedly large and in better condition compared to the rest of the resort. Bed and pillows were great. Staff was lovely

The dishes and glasses were not enough for all of us. They should make sure everything is there before visitors come. The swimming pool was dirty therefore we couldn't swim for the duration of the stay. The resort uses the candles for load shedding why not try to buy the magneto lights from Game store or Makro.

I loved the fact that the resort manager Heather respond so quick when you send an email or need help. The white lady from reception they call her sis Nokuthula is very friendly and welcoming. They helped us with the map of places we need to visit. The fact that they print the loadshedding schedule and give it to you on arrival was awesome.
