Stayed in this unit before, thoroughly enjoyed it again but, it rained heavily all night and the bathroom is in a separate building from the bedroom with no roof or covering between the 2.

Private, comfortable, clean. Despite getting wet in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom, it was another fantastic stay. Will definitely go back.

No Chocolates or cookies as stated on the list. My teenagers where quite disappointed. Small thing but sure counts a whole lot, especially while a family is going through a divorce :( No toaster as stated on the list. Why even mention it if it's a "non self catering" facility then? 4 people. 4 beds. Cottage only catered for 3 dishes and plates. Again. Small things matter to make all guests feel welcome. Cutlery, plates etc supplied but no means to wash them for re-use? Even a huge bucket would help. We had to ASK for more toilet paper. 4 people, 2 days? I will definitely revisit if they could improve on the matters mentioned. The gas braai on the stoep saved the day. Thank you!

We were in shock to find out that the bathroom was outside and every time you need to go to bathroom on a very rainy cold night you have to leave the room and go outside in rain during the night...........and also the host we never met only the cleaning lady , the cleaning lady was super friendly . We wanted to braai pre-cooked ribs which was going to be quick but we were told we could not make any fire as the wind was very strong which was understandable. Then I sent the host a message to find out where we can order dinner that can be delivered , she never replied that night to my text , so we decided to go out and go look for dinner and that way we could have dinner that night.... She only replied the next morning which was already too late.......we would'nt have had so much problem with the place , but It would have been nice to know before arrival about the outside bathroom so we could have requested an en-suite room. The bathroom outside is beautiful and fully functioning no problem about that , it's just an unusual situation to wake up at night from a warm bed and go outside the room to bathroom on a windy ,rainy and cold night.

We were booked at the room called Courtyard. The location of the place is great .The room was clean and met all we needed for the night and the bed was comfortable . Everything was nice and clean.......The putt putt area is the peak of the visit , we have enjoyed that very much. The property itself is beautiful .

Stayed in the Rooftop Bungalow - The room had a strong damp smell - likely from the carpet and this made the stay unpleasant.

We had not hot water in the evenings. We had to make use of the bathrooms at the Links. What would have happened if we weren't golfer's and did not have access to the facilities at the Links. We were also parked in and my husband had to walk, in the rain, to the golf club. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room, but no kettle. I had to boil water in the microwave.

Communication was really bad. The lack thereof made me wonder if I'm being scammed. No payment confirmation sent. Every communication initiated came from me - which is not what I'm used to when travelling. The toilet was also blocked.

We travelled for a friend's birthday party and just needed a place to spend the night. The place is neat and the staff is friendly.

Mirror situation was uncomfortable. There was no mirror near an electric point to do your hair. Only face mirror in bathroom that can’t be removed. A full length mirror when you’re getting ready is also a must, especially for the ladies.

It was clean and beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfy. Outside surroundings were neat.

- The upstairs cottage is rustic and some of the beds and bedding is old and lumpy. - There is no stove only a gas braai outside which is in the open sun (no shelter under which to cook) no sink or wash basin other than the one in the bathroom for washing up food items or cooking and eating dishes etc. Considering that it is a self catering facility this is extremely inconvenient. The gas cannister was almost empty making a breakfast a lengthy messy affair. - There is no dining area or nook with chairs inside the cottage only a picnic table and benches outside in the blazing sun or wind which is not suitable as there is no shelter outside in this area. - The is a huge tree in the middle of the property with a very strong pungent smell (like damp carpet) that surrounds the living spaces all the time. Considering the hot weather this smell makes leaving doors and windows open very uncomfortable. - The tree also drops lots of berries that stick to shoes and get into the rooms and living spaces. - The outside braai and picnic areas were all unkept, dusty and covered with leaves and could not be used. - There were many wasp hives around door frames and window frames with wasps present...not safe.

The locations is central and close enough to all amenities. It is a quiet area and close to all the attractions in St Francis Bay.

Checking in. I received a very long message with multiple photos and explanations. We had 2 rooms and the keys were at 2 different places. I tried calling but got no answer. Luckily cleaning staff on their way home showed us around. Also, they dont do credit card payments through Bookings.com. So much quicker and easier than eft..... Try and simplify.

the fact that the shower was in a bath. and the hot water didn’t work on a cold raining wet weekend . access to the property was difficult with an access pin not knowing where the keys were whilst raining wet.
