The privacy is great, staff are expectional and friendly and the rooms are neatened each day when you are out as not to bother you. Beautiful room and surroundings on the grounds, and just a short walk away from a park run trail.

The unit is directly under the mountain, as well as a short walk from the hiking trails. What the photos don’t do justice to is how close you are to the mountain range; a short hike grants you breathtaking vistas. The property is excellently maintained and well-manicured. The interior of the units are thoughtfully and sustainably decorated and inspire a nostalgic atmosphere. The bedding is pristine and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights is how wonderfully clean the units are.

It is close to a bar or restaurant that played music till quite late. The guests downstairs were also rowdy.

This property is in such a good location, close to the town and there is a separate gate entrance to the Clarens Conservancy/ Clarens Kloof Dam. We did the walk around the dam, it was absolutely beautiful and serene. The paths are well-marked with coloured arrows. The shops and restaurants are around the corner, and if you really want to, you could walk into town. We stayed in the wooden cabin, which was so quiet, a true little piece of paradise with a braai area and deck. Fresh flowers, clean linen, a kitchenette with fridge, a cosy big bed and comfortable sized bathroom for two. We have already said we'd love to return next year!

Just remember the bath doesn't have a telephone showed when picking units but if you are picking the unit with the tub you are in for a superb cozy bubble bath! Xoxo

Lovely little french styled room and bathroom. Super comfy bed, lots of pillows to choose from. Heated well and quiet out of the way although still close to town at the bottom of the mountain. Hiking trail starts a couple of houses down. There was a little kitchenette and proper coffee. Books and info on things to do, art etc.

A little out of town so if the weather isn't good it is quite a walk if that is what you are going for. Was happy to drive but parking in town was an issue due to a local Beer Festival

The shower is on the sma side, but that's about it.

The cottage was an amazing breath of fresh air. It was snug and quaint, and right next to a river. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds super comfy. I would highly recommend this spot!

- If you are looking for a scenic alternative to city life, this is the place to be. - Make sure to wake up and take a walk with a cup of coffee - it's so worth it. - Also be sure to make friends with the ducks... also worth it. - The network is a little foggy, so it's the perfect excuse to go off-grid for a while and not have anyone make you feel bad for it. - The fully-stocked kitchenette was such a plus.
