Toilet, bath and shower situated upstairs. You must climb up and down very often and very disturbing for the other partner if using the toilet during the night. Put black tiles between the tiles to or strap to mark your steps. No wardrobes and mirror on the ground. You have to move up and down the stairs.

Tranquility and very relaxing. Place very quiet even if it was New Years Eve and New Years Day. The breakfast was nice

Carla went all out. We received a warm welcome from her. I am too scared of heights but she made me feel at home. She even helped us carry our luggage down to the house. The breakfast was delicious. It was a buffet and my friends were happy. Everything was spotless.

The fact that there was no air conditioning in the room. It seems like those rooms get very warm and the heat wave didn't help. The wifi strength was poor in the room (Room 3). There was a bad smell at times, seemingly from the sceptic tank, that made us a bit uncomfortable. Guests will appreciate a little more effort for the breakfast. Too monotonous.

We loved the tranquility of the place and the great views of the dam and surrounding mountains. It is also nicely located, not too far from shops and restaurants. The staff was kind and helpful.

The rooms in the main property where the communal kitchen is are a bit noisy because noise carries, so if other guests start the day early you hear their entire conversations and you won’t be able to sleep in.

Had a wonderful stay Carla is an exceptional host. The views from the property are breathtaking and the pool was a great addition too. Again important to emphasise that Carla went beyond and above to make sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of.

We struggle to lock the door. The breakfast should be improved, not all people like scramble eggs. Pet should not walk around the dining area. The cooking staff to be more friendly

The owner communicated with us as soon as the booking was made. We received the address and pin location and a list with things to do and where to go. The owner welcomed us and took us to our room and showed us all the facilities available to us. We will go back.

Buffet style breakfast, well prepared. There was a variety to choose from. The rooms and the dining area were clean and inviting. They had braai facilities. Carla is an absolute host. It was lovely!
