There was an issue with the electricity. Unfortunately city power was not having a good week. But the thing I didn't like was that the backup power was not reaching the unit I booked properly. It would go off for long periods, or come on and off multiple times. That for me was the downer as I booked the place due to availability of backup power.

Sash was an amazing host, always availing himself for my questions and queries. The place is beautiful, my kids really enjoyed playing in the sand and water. Really enjoyed the beach vibes and the restaurant serves amazing food. I would definitely book another stay, but maybe more in the summer so we can enjoy more of the water since it was super cold at this time.

security made it so difficult for us to access the premises. he sweated at us. the security was so bad that we regretted booking at the Blyde. the security particularly Thomas (a Tsonga guy) made it impossible for us to enjoy our stay. he sweared at us, and made us wait for more than an Hour. after that they didn’t give us a small paper that could allow us entry and exit so I was stuck in the premises.

clean and host was friendly. However the security, regardless many times of being told by the host to open for us chose to not open. when they finally did they didn’t give us proper paper work. I could not go out in the morning to buy my son some wipes. they chose to still ignore us regardless of many times of asking. the security is terrible and unnecessarily judge-mental

The apartment was on the second floor and I have a knee problem.I wish that the specifications were listed prior.. I love tea and I was happy that there was tea and coffee facilities but the teabag container did not have a lid. Even if it is self-catering but can the guests atleast find 2 bottles of water and atleast a pint of fresh milk?😊 There were cockroaches all over the place,we killed a few. There was no toilet spray,we had to buy our own.🙄 The bedding was a total no🤭 The towels smelled damp..like they were never put in a fabric softner🤨 We had to move some of the furniture from the sitting room to the bedroom so that we may have a place to put cushions and other things,and also so that I may have a side table to put my phones on as there's only one in the bedroom.

The atmosphere was fantastic,it was easily adaptive,home away from home I should say. The security guys were very helpful,from at the gate to the lifestyle center,very friendly guys. The shower was nice..and the apartment was neat. There were tea and coffee facilities(no fresh milk though) Wifi connection was best😊 The pool side🥰💃🏻 The restaurant is very nice,and the music 👌

The iron board was not ok nearly broke my toes not light to accommodate the loadshedding we were staying in dark the oven was not working tjo bed was worse very old my back so sore shower door cant close when you shower

The surrounding was just perfect.

The location was very easy to find, my lil suggestion is that how about they put erows showing the blocks direction to which side starting from the entrance.

That I was told the room had a jacuzzi and that wasnr the case. And nobody could help me has this was a gift for my daughter.

Paying extra money to go view the lagoon in the morning... for business traveller's this place isn't ideal unless you want to pay more extra cash for everything as if there are generators atleast to keep us going...

The penthouse is situated in a very quiet place and host is helpful fast responses

The oven didnt work and was very dirty, but the host said he would take a look at the oven. Unfortunately if you traveling for business, no work space.

The location is fantastic and the host is really superb and very helpful.

I was not given the information regarding how a person should wear when going to the pool side Even the security at the pool side they treated me badly, they didn't give me the whole information regarding my swimsuit they told me not to swin while wearing a swimsuit that was revealing my bums ND which I did not know that it was not allowed. so swim site I didn't enjoy at all

The time issue and limitations at the beach. It would more beautiful if one was allowed to explore the place before check in. We were only allowed in the place at 2, got to the Beach around 3 n at 6 the beach closes . So we spent literally 3 hours in the beach. The next day for check out we are not allowed to go to the beach ... the apartment rules we understand completely.

The place is beautiful, its heavenly and very quiet. I enjoyed my time there.

I had a challenge carrying my luggage from the gate to the room, since you don't allow drop offs inside . 😪 Didn't swim that much since the water was too cold, l wished it could be warmed. B😷 😉

The room was very neat, clean and beautiful 😍 Loved the beach its exquisite and hoping to come again in summer. The restaurant is nice and we enjoyed the food
