The surroundings are breathtaking and this compliment the beautiful, large clean room. There are 2 beautiful swimming pools and nothing is to much for the staff.

Wow what an atmosphere and relaxing ambiance. Could have private time at the pool, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Could fully relax our bodies with the mobile spa which was amazing. Will definitely come back!

Apart from getting expired milk in the in-room coffee set, I can't fault the establishment.

Internet connectivity/speed could have been better. The venue was affected by load-shedding (as is most lodges in South Africa).

Excellent overall stay and amenities – close enough to Stellenbosch – hiking, restaurants, beach and other leisurely options. Accommodating host - we could extend our late check-out (this was quite convenient).

The aircon didn't heat the room.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The place has such amazing views, and the room was super clean. The staff were very friendly and always willing to assist. We will definitely come again.

The rooms are very cramped. Apart from the 2 Nespresso pods, there was only one sachet of instant coffee for 2 people.

Breakfast was lovely. Beautiful hotel, wish we had time to make use of the lovely pools.

No cellphone signal, very poor wifi signal, no tv in the room, the curtains barely cover the windows, no shower cap, the cupboard is tiny, bad pillows, breakfast is very average

The 2 standard rooms we booked were not fit for purpose.Very very small with no room for luggage even on the floor or any hanging space(reception tried to say having 3 hangers next to the bed meant there was hanging space)..The property needs to make clients aware how small these rooms are.The breakfast and reception area is tired and dated in its decor and furnishings.Either knock the 2 small standard rooms into one or advertise that standard rooms are effectively single ..

The outside and gardens of the property were well maintained and very pleasant.Two of the rooms we booked were standard and one was superior.Nicholas Philander made our stay.What a great guy and incredibly helpful.Whole group enjoyed our chats.Breakfast was hearty and tasty.great omelettes

No hot water, had to complain twice and only the next day the water was warm. No 2 prong plugs given however the hair dryer only takes a 2 prong plug. The couple we went with plugs didnt work, kept informing reception and they didnt do anything about it. Receptions attitude was to laugh at the situation. We wont be back, so many other places in Stellenbosch to stay at for the price you pay.

The location of the rooms was not ideal in that there was no privacy. We could not open our bedroom or bathroom curtains because they faced a communal courtyard where people were sitting and staff were up and down there. This is a pity because one misses out on the beautiful scenery when you're in your room. It is also uncomfortable to sit on the chairs outside the room when other guests are also outside theirs because there is then no privacy at all.

The service and the scenery were absolutely amazing! We loved the picturesque beauty of the place, it truly was amazing!
