The warm and open welcoming of Mattie on our arrival and willingness to be of help throughout our stay. Breakfast superb and more than enough. Wide variety served. Warm blankets and everything available from an iron to facial wipes.Charming treelights.

We would have been happier with a Choice in the cooked breakfast. The coffee sugar and milk was very little. Example: 2 coffee sachets but only 2 sugars. We needed 4. Fortunately the assistant gave us an extra container of drinks but the milk for Sunday was not topped up so we ran out.

We arrived late in the day and had to leave immediately after checking in so couldn't fully check the room out. On our return late at night we found the aircon didn't work and obviously had not been checked before we arrived. When we called for assistance the issue couldn't be fixed that night and we were offered a fan instead. We were asked if we would be staying for the second night we booked. I booked the room because of the aircon being available, when I stated no we will check out in the morning I was still billed for the second night which I believe is unacceptable.

The breakfast was average at best. Poor quality juice and coffee (so weak) There is very little to choose from other than yoghurt and fruitsalad. A muffin or croissant woulf have been nice. The choice of bread for toast was white or wholewheat. It would have been nice to have rye or health bread. For R120 it is much better value to walk 500m down the road to 55 Croissants. Or use the convenient fridge and microwave in your room.

It was lovely to be able to park off the street and to be able to sit outside our room overlooking the pool.

Parking space is a bit awkward/too tight especially for big cars/SUVs. I was bitten by mosquitoes, it would be great if there could be mosquito repellents in the rooms, especially in summer.

Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable 😕 Noisy dogs from 5am....neighbours.

Rooms are not well sound proof and doors have gaps. Whenever someone walks or talk in the corridors or left their door open, everything echos into noise. First night stay was acceptable. Second night stay, my next room guests partied with beers from 11pm to 2:30am and no one stopped them. I had to show my face there twice politely and they well still drunk screaming. In the morning or anytime if someone rings the guesthouse bell you will be awoken by it even at 6 or 7am. Not a very pleasant place to stay because you can't sleep really due to the rooms layout and inconsiderate guests. If you want to work remotely, the wifi is slow and drops often.

Friendly and helpful host. Generator during loadshedding. Cheapest in Wellington that is not a hostel.

2x single beds in the room for me and my wife to use. No microwave, iron and iron board in the room When i made a telephonic booking (17H50), o was told they are fully booked. My online booking, just 5 minutes latr was accepted and a room was allocated. The online logistics indicated that we will be allowed to pay on arrival but the payment was effected two days before our arrival

I could not pick the wifi whose details were provided on the information sheet.

I did not have breakfast at - i only realised in the morning that i was supposed to have booked the previous day. the bedding was very very clean. it was good to have everything provided to make tea in the room. Staff was very helpful in helping us order food delivery and finding a shuttle.

There's nothing about Cummings that is not to like. It's a perfect place for Any occasion. I stay in wellington but still busy book s night to relax
