The barbeque facilities are gas. We would have preferred braai facilities that cater for a wood/charcaol braai.

The location is wonderful, beautiful views and well equipped. Nice heating. We loved our stay.

The facility is satisfactorily clean but could use a final housekeeping check before visitors arrive. Being located in a natural environment, it is expected to see a few bugs here ane there. Nothing all too alarming of course.

A truely excellent getaway spot, excellent location and within a secure estate. It balances the experience of being home away from home. Loved it. Also, I LOVE that I can shower with the door open to a fresh breeze blowing down from the mountain.

Although property clean, being a fussy person , I noticed some spiderwebs, and blind in scullery needs a wipe as well as light switches and plugs Unfortunately they off DSTv Sat midnight and my husband could not watch a sport event at 5am on the Sunday

Lebo was absolutely fantastic. Due to an unexpected emergency, we arrived late and Lebo was very patient in assisting us. The unit itself was very well situated, in a quiet and stunning part of Clarens. The unit was meticulously cleaned and stocked with everything that was needed. It did get very cold, so the electric blankets were appreciated, as well as Lebo's tip to get firewood, which we bought from the store in town just a 2 minute drive away. We absolutely loved staying at Cute & Quirky and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a perfect Clarens getaway.

It would have been nice to have been welcomed personally by the host on arrival. There were no dish-up spoons and the base of the one on-suite toilet was loose as well as the toilet paper holder

We had several hours of load shedding making for creativity in spending evening away - eating out or biscuits, cheeses n wine.

Location was secure n private. Sunny situation with sun streaming into the unit. Luxuries like underfloor heating, indoor-outdoor shower, modern conveniences with noisy machines out of communal living area.

Lots of loadshedding during our stay and due to the cold we could hardly warm up. The electric blankets helped, if the power was up.

Lovely house with everything we needed during our stay. Located on a gated complex, it felt very safe. Would definitely recommend!

there was no dresing table and chair with a mirror to do my hair and the wall mounted mirror is not near an electrical socket. The gas bottle for the stove was also empty.

the beds were clean and comfy. the fire place was great as well a the BBQ grill outside was nice. i also loved the heating under the bathroom tiles was a bonus!

There was a lot of load shedding during our stay and our hosts did let us know in advance, but some emergency lights in the sitting area would be nice. The outside table and benches are lovely and comfy with cushions to sit on while you use the gas braai but during the day this bakes in the sun and in the evening it gets too cold to sit outdoors, a patio heater and umbrella may be nice additions for future. I know it sound like I'm complaining, but it didn't worry us, just points we noticed that could improve future stays. There is new development happening around the unit so there was a bit of noise on Friday and some workers wondering around. Hopefully this will be over soon.

Nice airy modern feel. Well thought out process for easy, minimal contact on arrival and departure. Controlled access and close to town but far enough to feel like you are in the country side. Loved the fireplace and under floor heating in the bathrooms. Hosts were forth coming and helpful even though we never met them in person and only communicated via whatsapp and email. (which is actually what we prefer🤣) For those wanting more info.... Beds are firm, but comfy and bedding, including electric blankets, well equipped to handle the chilly evenings ( we visited end Sept). The shower pressure was amazing! Lovely big fridge and freezer, complete with ice trays. Nice undercover parking right in front of the entrance for 2 cars, which is very convenient. Beautiful view from our bedroom, including a fair amount of birds visiting the lawns. Perfect get away for 2 couples sharing a unit.

There was no rechargable lights for use during loadshedding . Luckilly I remembered my own . Although loadshedding is not the owner's fault , just a suggestion to make the guest's stay as comfortable as possible during loadshedding.

Cute&Quirky was a excellent choice for a breakaway weekend. The house is well equipt and beautifully decorated. The peace and traquillity is priceless. I definetly recommend Cute&Quirky for anyone who seeks a self catering unit with privacy.

Everything exceeded our expectations so there is nothing we did not like.

The unit is exactly like the pictures. Even better actually! Check in was a breeze. You collect keys from a lockbox. The owner communicated all the details so efficiently. The pictures seem like the unit is in a isolated spot with no houses around however when we got there it was in a access control estate with good security and houses around the property. The yard is quiet big so it seems that way. There is two bedrooms with two en suites.

The Kettle was full of thick limescale, we had to use a pot on the gas stove, there was no wifi as advertised. On arrival dstv was not working although I contacted Lebo and she sorted it out, on Tuesday night it failed again.

The home was beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed.

Loved everything about this property. I would just advise the owner to have a fire lighter . The Lion match boxes for the fireplace and gas stove were damp and did not work.

This property is located in a very beautiful snd tranquil estate . It's a spacious and lovely decorated in a modern monochromatic aesthetic.. The owner was attentive and available to answer any questions I had . The view from the bedrooms is impressive
