We loved our stay in Daisy Cottage. It's absolutely gorgeous designed and so cozy. It was 5star equipped and more as we expected. From coffee-beans, oliveoil, wood, electric blankets, transportable heater, a huge collection on DVD's. Its such a cozy home, perfect to explore the beautiful village, great for cooking and spend some nights at the fire place. On top, an easy and friendly communication with the host. The garden has the potential to be stunning but is a little overgrown at the moment.

Daisy Cottage was clean and comfortable. The "uithuisie" makes for a useful extra toilet/bathroom. We enjoyed browsing through the wide selection of recipe books in the lounge! The kitchen is well-equipped.

Fabulous old house with wooden floors and beautiful decor. The kitchen is super well-equipped and the garden is lovely. It's been very cold so the fire and the electric blankets have been very welcome!

Absolutely loved ye olde Cape Dutch cottage with it's traditional finishes restored to perfection .Very spacious. A lovely courtyard/garden for early morning late afternoon sitting outside . Wonderful vinyl collection. In the heart of this enchanting village.

This is such a little town that everything is in walking distance. The people are all friendly and the town is very neat and tidy. It is like stepping back in time gone by and was a great experience especially for my teenagers. Beautiful scenery all around you.

We loved everything!

Pierre was great in welcoming us. We received a map of the town and tips on what to do. Beautiful house. Three rooms. Lovely linen and comfortable beds. Nice hot shower. The kitchen is well equiped and the coffee was GOOD! Rene has more than enough DVD's for the movie /TV lover. The record player was broken, but the music available is amazing. Very well situated.

There was nothing that we didn't like

The cottage is well equipped, everything you might need. The host is very friendly and helpful. It's walking distance from basically everything. It's really a nice place to spend a few days in the beautiful Nieu-Bethesda.

We enjoyed the interior and the contemporary art of this beautifully renovated old Karoo house. Eventhough we had some trouble in obtaining some firelighters, we had a very enjoyable and cosy evening in the living room in front of the fireplace. The turntable and listening to the old vinyl records was a definate hit! We enjoyed all the cultural nuances in the house. The contrast of the contemporary furniture with the old was refreshing. Paging through the beautiful coffee table books wilst enjoying some freshly ground coffee was delightful!

As it was winter and cold, more heating facilities would have been appreciated. More wood for one and perhaps heaters and/or electric blankets.

Nice location, easy walking, ample space and loved the DVD movie selection.
