Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

South AfricaReally not a dealbreaker but walking past another room in my "jammies" to get to the smoking area, would have rather preferred it opposite the pool to avoid the uncomfortable "hi" every time with the guys in the next room 😂.. felt like we were invading their space.. but that's just me.
All the little extras that don't usually come standard was a nice surprize! Bed was warmed up, battery light available for loadshedding etc. It really is a nice place! I also loved that the bathroom was seperated from the room with a little hallway.

I loved how clean it was, the bed was so comfortable and the garden outside is very neat.

South AfricaThe lady came across as racist to me. She brought dogs into my room, when she opened the gate to welcome me, her dogs were all over me, kicking my legs. When I complained about her dogs, she said they were welcoming me and she said that arrogantly. I don't understand why would she think every one is a pet lover. When she came to collect my payment, she brought dogs once again. I paid with my card and when my transaction went through she sighed as if she was holding her breath that my card would decline. This is the person who kept on calling me while I was on my way, all the way from Eastern Cape until I arrived in Bloemfontein. She orientated me through the room. When I needed to bath, there was greese and grime in the bath, wash basin. I called her to let her know the bath was dirty, she came, once again with her dogs. Checked the bathroom and found it was terribly dirty. She then went to fetch cleaning chemicals and cleaned and apologized. I then bathed. When I got into bed, the bed was full of hair and had pungent smell of someone else who previously used the bed before me. I slept because it was already late and didn't want to inconvenience her. I sent her a text in the morning, notifying her Id like to book for another day but I needed my linen changed. She then asked me what seemed to be the problem and I explained to her that the linen is dirty, I had to persevere sleeping with dirty sheets just not to inconvenience her because I hv already called her for the dirty bathroom. She was so arrogant, arguing that she personally changed the linen,they don't change linen if someone is extending their stay. I did not feel that I had to argue with her. First it was a dirty bathroom, now dirty linen. The person had been calling me through out the day, checking my whereabouts but she gives me a dirty stinking room. I have never felt so undermined in my life. She is a racist who thought a colour of my skin deserves a dirty room!!!
