The location is far from the city, so it kind of discourage you to drive there and and see it.

Great location, view, the room was very specious loaded with amenities, they do have a restaurant for dinner, they have a full bar and as usual, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

A fantastic farm stay in the Karoo, with comfortable bed, good breakfast, delicious dinner and friendly staff. Taking a dip in the pool after a long day of traveling was a treat.

It is a long way from town although Oudtshoon didn't seem that good.

Breakfast was not up to standard for this property. I just think they should check their services and breakfast options . Staff was not available when we looked for cutlery. We opened the cupboard to assist ourselves. They didn't top up the buffet after 2 other tables had breakfast before us.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful chalet. Very cozy. Loved the big bath! Our view from the patio was beautiful

The restaurant service, dinner quality and presentation of the food did not meet the expectation set by De Denne's website and write up of Mabelle restaurant. The staff was very friendly, but the service is not very pro-active. An order was missed, there was too long of a waiting time for wine service, waiting for glasses, we had to open the bottles ourselves, long waiting time for correcting of the order that was missed. At breakfast no-one took an order for hot breakfast until we asked. I am sure this can all be improved by some more training and reviewing the presentation and food quality actually being brought out on the plates. The wine list was fantastic though :-)

There is nothing not to like at De Denne. Everything was even better than we expected. Restaurant food is excellent! Highly recommend eating there. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views - quiet and peaceful. Staff are multilingual and very friendly. I even got a car wash!

De Denne is a gem in Oudtshoorn. the views, the rooms, the people and the grounds are stunning. I highly recommend this stay. Food in the restaurant is good and to sit by the pool and relax is just what we needed after a long drive. plenty of activities very near by.

BBQ facilities need a bit of attention, bathroom fittings are becoming old and need an update.

Cold swimming pool is the only drawback.

This is one of those very rare places that is much more than just a place to stay. We created great memories here. Do not miss the ostrich farm tour.
