The cleaning lady came 2 hours earlier before our check out. We couldn't use the outside area for breakfast and didn't have 100% privacy. She had a cute baby with her so we didn't protest:-)

The house provides privacy and peace. Beautiful garden and outdoor seating. We could do laundry and cook. The kitchen was fully equipped, incl. coffee, tea, sugar, milk. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. We felt safe. There was a supermarket, restaurants and other shops nearby. Close to tourist destinations also.

The potholes at the entrance were difficult to maneuver around. Slight damp smell in the rooms.

Lucy, the housekeeper was amazing! Rechargeable lights and a few other extras made the stay more enjoyable.

The owner was slow to respond to questions prior to the visit (although very responsive from once we were in the property), and arrival instructions weren’t clear. Given the wifi problems that routine power outages cause and the fact that guests may be on the road without access to internet it would be good to have clear arrangements beforehand. Also a guest information sheet in the property would be handy to inform about things like power outages (very normal in SA but international visitors are not so familiar with it) and house facilities like the gas oven and how to access the washing machine. Adult sized towels would be good!

Very spacious, perfect for 3 couples or a family group. Very well equipped, lovely garden and great location in the busy town but still quiet. Lovely housekeeper, Lucy. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

I can't think of anything we didn't like about De Mist. Excellent all around.

De Mist was just as shown on the listing. The beds were very comfy and having three bathrooms in a house that size was a luxury, not to mention the clawfoot bathtub. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, just like the rest of the house.

There was very little communication from the property before our stay, so we were a bit confused about how to check in. We eventually managed to get hold of the host and it was sorted.

The house is spacious and kitted out with everything we needed. The rooms are big with a fireplace in the main bedroom. A gas stove and oven meant that we could still prepare dinner throughout load shedding. There were also ample load shedding lights available to use when the power was off.

Couldn’t get in touch with the owner at first, and Google reported the address in the wrong place. After some initial concern, it was eventually resolved.

Great location for exploring Graskop and surrounds, wonderfully decorated home, comfortable beds, nice garden. Worked perfectly for the six in our group.

T.he smell of the burnt wood in the room was a problem for me so I had to open the windowsall the time to reduce thr smell in the room. Maybe the installation of an air conditioner in the bedroom can assist with the reduction of the smell. It was not cold therefore there was no need for me to use any heater.

The accommodation is exceptional.You get value from the money paid.

Absolutely nothing... Everything was just perfect.

The house was very clean and spacious. It ialso located very close to the tourist attractions i.e The Graskop Gorge and Gods Window. We had a very comfortable stay.
