Zandra and Chris were exceptional hosts. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities and more. Breakfast was great!! The garden is tranquil and relaxing - spent some time their. Only spent one night but highly recommended. Will definitely return.

This guesthouse goes above and beyond. Every little detail has been thought through. I have never stayed anywhere so clean! A real delight to stay here. The managers were delightful, breakfast delicious and copious. Do not hesitate to book here!

There were some challenges with the WiFi

De Witte Huis was the perfect place to overnight for us on our trip for work meetings. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, I really enjoyed having the electric blanket to warm the bed at night. The team welcomed us and explained everything well to us, and were able to assist with some last minute printing which was very helpful. The breakfast and coffee in the morning was just what we needed to prepare us for the day. Whilst we went out for dinner, there were great in room facilities to heat food from the shops or to order a take away.

The room is decorated in such good taste and very spacious, really comfortable and the private entrance is also nice. The hosts were friendly and amazing and the breakfast was also excellent. A lot of attention to detail

The question is what didn't we like. Firstly the interior is absolutely amazing, the unit smelt amazing it was spotless. All the details made this place stand out above so many other places we have stayed at, the cocolates on the beds to welcome us, the little snacks in the fridge were all things that made this stay extra special. Nothing was needed, the room had so many extras, like bathrobes, slippers, I even had make up remover available and a specific face towel for make up. We recieved shower gel and shampoo so it was not needed to buy. The property has a generator so Loadshedding is no issue here. The wifi was good and the tv in the room had dstv. The manager was absolutely amazing, her and her husband made sure all our needs were met. They went out of their way to accomodate us with anything we needed. We had a barbeque here the one day and they gave us more time before checking out to clean up and pack without feeling hurried. The breakfast in the mornings were phenomenal. This is a safe area and I had such a good sleep. The beds sleep well and the sheets were so soft and just so great to sleep in.

Nothing not to like.

What an excellent establishment!Attention to detail is the name of the game at De Witte Huis. Well equipped big comfortable room with everything plus extras like welcoming sherry. Who do that anymore? De Wiite huis with there friendly staff most certainly set the bar very high! Well done and thank you for such a nice experience at a very affordable price. As I had to leave early the next morning and couldn’t stay for breakfast an on the go breakfast box was prepared in no time! On top of it all a generator to conquer loadshedding!
