Duex Freres is a slice of heaven. The two rooms are gorgeous, we stayed with friends and had the whole place to ourselves which was amazing. From the moment you arrive nothing is too much for Charl and the staff there. The rooms and property are so beautiful, the included wine tasting is delicious and a great introduction to the area. All the food, breakfast, dinner and charcuterie board were outstanding and beautiful presentation. Small details like choosing your own pillow type and free laundry service make this place a very high level experience. We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous vineyard and villas

We were 2 couples renting both rooms and it was very private and nice to have pool and garden just for us . The dogs came and visited us sometimes and we loved it. The breakfast was very good and the setting was lovely.

There was absolutely nothing about this establishment that I did not like.. I loved the tranquility of it all.

The breakfast was very good, lots of variety, staff invited you to choose your breakfast selections for the following day. I had a freshly cooked breakfast along with fruit & yoghurt, toast & coffee each days. The quality & quantity was very satisfying.

A little but far from town. But Charl arranged a driver fir the 3 days we stayed.

Absolutely stunning, the quality and aspect of the villa was breathtaking. The bedroom was huge and the bathroom was very luxurious, we really felt special. Charl was a fantastic host, I needed to see a Dr and Charl arranged it within minutes. The wine tasting was great and added to the experience Breakfast served in our conservatory was a nice touch.

Absolutely stunning oasis in Stellenbosch. The hosts and staff are so lovely (including the 3 gorgeous dogs!). Loved the rooms, style was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast delivered to enjoy in your sun room was perfect. Felt like you had your own private pool with only 2 rooms on the property. Sun loungers were so comfy too! Complimentary wine tasting was def a highlight! Everything perfect.

Fitted with many luxuries and complemented with above and beyond service, it is an oasis within a stone's throw from Stellenbosch.

Everything was perfect!

Our host Charl made us feel very at home. Especially the wine tasting that Charl hosted was topnotch! Special thanks to him, we had a wonderful time and surely will come back (for a longer period of time). It’s the most beautiful villa we stayed in, when in Stellenbosch. The garden and the vineyards are so beautiful and breathtaking.

Everything was amazing! From the surrounding landscapes and vineyards, the carefully designed large rooms with highest quality materials, all the amenities, everything was so thought through and attentive, so was the staff. They made us feel welcome taken care of all the time, and even were so helpful when one of us was sick. I could not think of anything to improve the service. The breakfast arrived in the front room before we woke up and always at the time we ordered it. The wines of the two brothers taste delicious, it’s a lovely winery! Our expectations were exceeded.

A really nice property. The room and covered porch were very large. All the people were very accommodating and friendly. This is a working winery so you can view the farm and try the wines (tasting included). A delicious made to order breakfast is served on a table in the enclosed porch. The wines were some of the best in the area and we took some home.

Nothing negative. The road is a bit bumpy, which for us in fact is positive. Not everybody finds the way to this magnificent place.

Very beautiful guesthouse in the countryside. Antelopes grazing just in front of our suite. The owner family and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Game drives in a perfect scenery. Not too many animals, which is very good. Much better than all those parks and reserves at the coast. A perfect stay just to wind down and relax.
