Breakfast, nobody told us it was included in the daily fee. Room not cleaned properly and the chairs and bathroom was very rundown. Very noisy from outside because of the music festival, we will definitely not come the last two weeks of December again.

The only thing we can say about the perfect stay, is that we did have a tap leak in our bathroom that we did report three times. It was unfortunately not attended to. It left us with a bathroom floor that was flooded every morning until housekeeping could come in to tidy up. We had to use their beautiful white towels to soak up the water a bit. But, we do understand that it is festive season and getting a plumber out is not that easy! Other than that we were treated so lovely and our request about the tap was take into consideration!

The staff were exceptional! The view and location was ideal. The room was stunning and SO clean! Housekeeping was excellent with fresh linen ever-day! We just loved our stay at Diaz so much!

Broken chair on balcony and safe didn’t work. Reported and chair was repaired, but still was t safe to sit on.

There was a strange smell from the drains which was very off putting, it did require some touch ups here and there. The menus for the restaurants don't really facilitate for under 2s which put us off. The pool was nice but didn't realised it was shared with other hotel/clubs. There is a beach club/night venue down stairs in front of the hotel which we think was connected to the hotel, can be loud. Our travel cot wasn't in the room when we arrived which was a little frustrating.

The view was stunning and and the beds were super comfy, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in an evening when little one was in bed. They identified schedules for loadshedding which was beneficial

Arrogant staff and at times very unprofessional, some don't wear socks with their suits ans others have noserings in the middle bone of nose and other sit on countertops and other flat out lie about rooms being ready and returning calls. Bathrooms are VERY small. Very bad sewage odour in corridors and bathrooms SO MUCH noise from music outside and bar in front of hotel Bar in the front of hotel spoils the view. Breakfast is severely limited for a 4 star Chef does not look professional in his attire

Slow wifi makes work from home difficult. Breakfast not many options for vegetarian guests. What is available is also very bad in taste. Looks stale and unfresh and unappealing. We were only two adults but those with kids shouldn't live here as it is very noisy with unbearable loud music even for adults when some fests are held. Parking too can be an issue as there is very limited number of parking on first come first occupied and the others have to park in another side of the building on first floor.

The rooms are clean with modern amenities. The rooms are all sea facing with good seating arrangement in the balcony. The staff is helpful and hard working. They try their best to help.

Having frequented the property for many years the breakfast is meagre and downscaled and it’s really disappointing compared to so many hotels .

The TV in the room did not work. Luckily the weather was good so there was not much need for it.

The hotel staff were very helpful and we enjoyed the view.

I wasn't happy that we had to walk all the way around to get to the beach so we could go for a walk because of the Matric rave. Also the gym was advertised as if it's part of your hotel and it's not. I wanted to stay an additional night but wanted a family room... But your staff at reservation wasn't willing to accommodate us in a family room. My kids were willing to sleep on bunk beds because it was just one night.

The breakfast was standard but I would have like to see a cheese board and Crackers, also mugs for coffee and not those small cups.

The hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It isn't very personal, it's built more for mass tourism. The restuarant was also very average, both in terms of food and comfort (there was a cold draft blowing)/

The bed was not comfortable enough,I think they need to consider on investing on new beds and the DSTV only few channels are playing as I it’s been set to play certain channels and my husband is a fan of sport so that was a turn of for him.

The location facing the beach and we where on the 10th floor that on its own was 👌👌

We had a perfect sea view, the hotel being right next to the beach. It has a good sized swimming pool with a beach view. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Woken up 3 times by an alarm that went off with loadshedding and very noisy people outside the front of the hotel.

The hotel is pretty basic, no frills. The whole area is kind of industrial-looking, but once you're in the hotel you don't see much of that. It isn't a place where you could walk around outside the hotel - there's really not much there to see. You'd have to drive to find anything interesting. However, we were only there for one night on our way to someowhere else, so it was perfect.

Our suite was huge and the bed comfortable. The view of the ocean and beach was gorgeous and it was warm for swimming (we were there in November). The room service hamburgers we ordered were great!
