How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The people at reception and the bar lady who happens to be the same person surely needs training.
Security guy, short not sure of his name very welcoming and always available to assist when ever I’m there.

Contrary to the info on booking.com about facilities: no kitchen for guests. Some guests were quite noisy.

The TV, we had to use our own Netflix and DSTV credentials on the TV, one of the shower heads in our suite wasn't working but they said they'd fix it. One huge pointer...the toilet paper, they gave us half ply toilet paper 🧻🧻🧻!!!
The room was clean, 💯% on that one, and the staff went over and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay

Booked it for my brother and we were driving very late from Lesotho. The staff was soooo accommodating regarding our check in times and they waited for my brother to arrive at around 1am. So, honestly, that for me was super impressive in terms of their customer service and outright kindness.

The security door was kind hard to lock and unlock, but nothing too hard to handle. Also having to call to be let in the property late at night took a bit of time as guests are not given a remote for the gate. Maybe a night guard by the gate to make access easier and faster for whatever time of the night.
The hotel was great! The hospitality the staff gave was soo good. They made sure that if need anything, all I had to was ask. Great pool area )the pool was clean), and it has a bar too! The room was really cozy and the bed was very comfortable. There’s always staff around if you needed anything.

Shower needs to be fixed as there is a leak which messed the bathroom floor and the room gate needs to be fixed as was tricky to lock and unlock.
Great pool, secure parking, friendly staff, comfortable bed and linen.

The room that I got was not the one I booked it showed that it was a room for 1 person the gown was 1 including the towels

The water in the shower was not hot but lukewarm😢
The room was so clean and refreshing. There was also a TV where you had a remote and could watch anything that you like. The housekeeper was so sweet and very kind as well as accommodative. ( Mmapitso is her name) She definitely made sure you felt home and warmly welcomed. 😊

The staff is noisy. We had to prove that we booked although they had a email from booking.com. the older lady didn't want to give us WiFi password and wanted to put it in our phones herself which I found rather unprofessional, invasion of privacy. The breakfast was limited I had to use a saucer to dish yoghurt while other guests got bowels. The staff I think should wear uniform as I felt it was unprofessional of them in what they wore as you can't differentiate between staff and guest. On Sunday after we checked out of the rooms we were asked to leave as we not allowed to be in the garden and if we're are going to be seated there we had to pay a additional amount.as a day visitor. That time some staff members were in the garden drinking
