Our stay at this apartment was exceptional. The house is beautifully designed, with attention to detail evident in every corner, and boasts a breathtaking view overlooking Hout Bay. The location is ideal, just around 30-minute drive to downtown and Chapman's Peak, renowned for being one of the most picturesque drives in the world. Additionally, the proximity to supermarkets, a mall, and a variety of shops and restaurants enhances the experience. We highly recommend staying here!

Only minor points - the location being on the main road although great for accessibility there was some traffic noise and it felt a little removed from the beach. The bath in the master was on a step with high sides so made it abit tricky to get in & out if you have mobility issues

Good location for road trips around the cape, with secure parking. Very clean & welcoming. Johann was waiting for us on arrival and was very quick to respond when we had an issue with the sink.

There was nothing not to like.

Johann was a great host, making sure we were taken care of and felt ocnfortable upon our arrival to Cape Town. The apartment is quite spacious and was very tidy and clean. The location is also very good just 2min away from the supermarket, restaurants and stores. If you walk 5min you can stroll on the beach. It is also a great base to explore Cape Town and surrounding areas as there is easy access to main driveways. Definitely recommend to stay here if you are wanting to explore Cape Town.

Because it’s next to restaurants. Some nights the smell of food comes in when you have windows open.

The question is what’s there not to like about the property. Every was exceptionally immaculate. Clean, homey and beautiful.

Johann was an amazing host, with a warm greeting and lots of good suggestions. He also stayed in touch through our stay in case we needed anything. The apartment was a great place to relax and to tour around from. I thoroughly enjoyed the heated blanket on a particularly blustery day. Great location with all the bells and whistles. I loved starting the morning with a cup of tea while looking at the mountains and the sea.

The host Johann was friendly and available throughout our stay. The appliances worked and were in excellent condition. The apartment finishes are modern and not cluttered. The apartment was super clean There was a burst pipe in the area. Johann arranged for us to have drinking water and provided another apartment for us to freshen up and bath. Thanks to him and Karen for assisting us during this time. DK Villa brand is an exceptional one and we are looking forward to rebook another holiday with them.

The apartment has a beautiful interior and is well equipment - feels still freshly renovated. Sitting in the living room enjoying the view or watching the sunset was perfect. Johann was very friendly - he even let us check in earlier and gave great recommendations. Even though it is more expensive than other apartments in Southafrica it is worth it and we would definitely stay again in one of his properties! Uber and Uber Black work also very good and can drive you around.

Absolutely everything. Up-market amenities, clean and neat and our host bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable. And it has backup power so loadshedding is not a problem.

The lift wasn't working when we were there but has since been repaired.

The location and views are exceptional and the flat is bright and beautifully kitted out. Everything looks new and there’s nothing you might need during your stay that hasn’t been thought of by the hosts. There were 5 of us coming and going over several days and it worked well regardless of how many people were present. Johann the owner could not be more helpful.

One small little remark, my wife and our baby slept in the front room as you enter. Room was beautiful and fresh only thing missing was a ceiling fan , like the other 2 rooms had. It was very warm at night for her. But I'm sure Johann will resolve that before our next visit.
