Not a lot of units, so it is quiet and calm and just lovely break with beautiful views of the Berg and farm animals. Well equipped and clean.

I didn't like how small the bathroom was. The door is very narrow when you walk in.

I enjoyed the view. The room is big, the bed comfortable and the guest house is close to shops and restaurants. It's great if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in the Drakensberg.

The only thing that didn't work effectively was the mini oven. The rest was better than expected :)

Valita was super warm and very welcoming when I arrived. She shared tips and suggestions of what to do in the area which was great! The space, room and kitchen were really well equipped with everything that I needed. Really clever use of space in the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was spacious, air con was great to heat up the cool evenings, seating was available in 4 different areas, the braai area and the outside seating was comfortable and super clean. The entire area was cleaned daily which was awesome. Staff were super friendly and always gets with a smile. And it was great to receive daily visits from the furry friends too! Staying here allowed me the freedom to think, meditate, read and relax as needed.

he used towel was not changed, the sheets on the bed were not changed on the second day. The gate is manually opened operated, old kitchen appliances. The TV remote was not working had to manually switch on the tv

We had to leave early due to my wife becoming ill. Hosts were very understanding

At last - a self catering unit that is fully equipped, not like some others I have stayed at (Zebra Lodge) which claim to be self catering, but only have a kettle and a few cups.

The main bed at Room 2 was to hard, two nights I couldn't sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night and sit on the couch, just to relax my body. Till we left never saw the host, the other thing is because we came at night. The security is another thing, you just have to pray to God to protect you and the family.

The place is beautiful, inside and out.

They should provide electric blankets. The airconditioner is very noisy.

We arrived 10mins later than our indicated at 19:10 due to bad weather and traffic. After several attempts to phone the number provided for keys we couldn't get through. No attempt was made by the property to contact us or make sure of our arrival. We eventually found the room was left open and slept over for the night.

There was only a small soap in the bathroom and no shampoos. The wifi connection was way beyond poor. And the water kettle was very dirty and smelled of eggs. The lights were very dim ☹ though we spent one night but I trully believe that the owner would have done everything to her best if we told her. She was fantastic.

The location was awesome. Quite a beautiful view and well maintained. A welcome drink and ofcourse the small toffees . Towels and everything were clean. The bed was super awesome super comfy. Children can sleep nicely.
