The fact that my kids couldn't swing the pool was dirty And I was told it's clean before the trip Having ro pay for a public pool,but you booked a guest house with a pool for convenience but ja never happened

The room that I slept in had no key on the other door which opens to the passage,even thou I was told am the only person using the passage there were still other doors & the bathroom was in the passage not ensuite inside the room

We needed accomodation urgently as our original place had shut down. This one was recommended by a security man patrolling the area. So it was available.

I would recommend the owner invests in a small UPS to keep the wifi working during blackouts. Some maintenance and replacement of towels and linen is overdue.

The staff were exceptional, friendly, always available and helpful. However the place is run down. Although we had a microwave and fridge there was no crockery or cutlery, so self catering was not possible. The towels were threadbare and water is only available for showering at certain times of the day. There is a lot of traffic noise and the wifi is usable, but slow and only works when the power is on.

Place has not been maintained. Very dirty shower curtain; no toilet seat on the toilet; Aircon is not working properly; had to switch batteries between remotes; outside chairs are all broken - can't sit on them. Advertised price listed on Booking.com increased by 10% when I had to pay, due to the fact that I booked via Booking.com. I won't stay here again.😱

The geyser is too loud and makes funny noises. It often disturbed my sleep if someone opened the hot tap water at night.

A few maintenance issues need to be attending to e.g. the toilet was running all the time. The stove plates did not get anywhere hear hot, never tried the oven.

We booked a month and a half in advance. We have received a confirmation email stating what time we need to check in etc. On the day of arrival we where told that the place was fully booked. We were dumbfounded on why this happened since we booked in advance. The accommodation would have served as a place to stay since we were going to attend a graduation ceremony and wanted to be nearby the campus. We felt the staff did not handle this nicely as we were addressed by one from a window. Arrangements were going to be made to an alternative place that is further away from where we wanted to stay initially. We just felt that communication should have been given regarding this earlier on, then we would not have been in this predicament.

That the staff were super friendly, especially Ruthie. The room was spacious and clean. They allowed us to make use of the kitchen inside the main house.

We had to wait 15min before we could go into the premises. There were cockroaches everywhere even on the bed. We struggled to lock the door.

I didn't stay at the accommodation. After I had booked, I called to notify them of my late arrival. The manager said, "No problem, I'll forward you the number of the person at the property." which he never did, and few calls after that call, he never picked up. So I showed up at the property, tired of course after my long road trip. Only to get to the property and be told that the property had been fully booked for 3 days before that day, despite booking 5 days in advance for my stay. The lady at the property was kind enough to call another BnB and send us to the property, which the location was not of my desire. It would've been nice to know that the property was already booked full so that I could cancel my booking beforehand.

I booked on Booking.com, I drove to the guest house, when I got there I call the their number a guy answered and said he is not in the guest house, I must go to the small gate and buzz, I did exactly that and a lady came out and told me they are fully booked I told her I booked on Booking.com she said it means they forgot to close the bookings, no apology nothing, she just left.

No, I didn't use Wi-Fi . I didn't even ask about it. I only needed one night sleep after a long drive. I cannot comment much about the Wi-Fi.

we did not have breakfast???? on making our booking I was notified that it was confirmed however when we arrived, we were informed that our room was not available IT WAS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE and that there was no more rooms available?????? and no attempt was made to help us with any alternative accommodation, I FIND THAT THIS WAS BAD> I WILL INSURE THAT ALL MY FRIENDS NEVER BOOK WITH DRIFT SANDS AGAIN?????
