Maybe a recommendation to put a handrail in the shower as the shower floor are very slippery. Just to hold on when you are washing your lower body and feet. Also just to add a fan in the cottages as it was very hot and there were no air conditioners.

We liked the location as it was walking distance from everything. The cottage itself was very cozy and comfortable with all the necessary requirements that we needed. Unfortunately, the rain was a bit of a handy cap, as we couldn't use the outdoor braai facility, but the weber on the porch helped a lot!

Furnishings are shabby. Towels are old, need replacing. No adequate provision for load shedding. Noise from main road and loud music from bars nearby.

Host was great, Bronwyn was contactable and accommodating where possible. Location was good. Bed and linen were clean and comfortable. Nice quaint cottages that just need some upgrading

Could do with electric blankets or winter sheets as Dullstroom is so cold at night and fire place is in the lounge.

We arrived as a cold front moved in and the cottage was cold, I was ill prepared for the cold, and should have brought warmer clothes. Bring extra firewood for those long cold evenings

We needed small kindling for the fire.

Everything except the lack of kindling for the fire, so it went out before the logs caught fire properly

The cottage was basic and not well equipped, and missed items, such as a hairdryer. Cottage can do with some maintenance and upkeep. Water damage on the ceiling was very noticeable in bedroom 2 and bathroom. There is no picnic area at the property as advertised. The cottage is on the main road with lots of heavy traffic and noise disturbances. One can also hear the other guests. On the day of our arrival, a few men were chopping trees down across the veld. They were playing loud music and drinking beers while loading the wood onto their bakkke. This was right across from our cottage and made the afternoon unpleasant as their music and load behavior disturbed our peace. The next morning at checkout time, they were back to cut and load more wood.

Not enough blankets for Dullstroom in winter, summer linen, flimsy, thin curtains, no heaters, inadequate cooking utencils, and the ones that was there were not in a great condition, no wine glasses, gate could not lock, rubble in parking space

Poor cell reception during loadshedding and no WiFi, but the Seattle 30m down the road helped us out!

The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the place can be much improved. Upon arrival the first thing you see is a hole in the glass of the door stuffed with toilet paper. The upstairs bathroom has no handle on the inside and the downstairs bathroom has a very off putting scent which made me not want to use it at all

It's a very cozy little place and we enjoyed the fireplace a lot.

The only thing that was a bit irritating was the road traffic in the night.
