The bedding was not as in the photo’s. There were clean bedsheets on the bed, but the duvet, pillow cases and blankets were dirty. We asked for extra blankets, which they brought immediately, but these were old and one even had a hole burnt into it. Take your own bedding along. Other than that, it was a good place for fishing and family time.

Lovely location. Houses next to the water, which makes it very convenient. Able to hike, good trail. They do park runs around the dam on Saturdays, so bring your running shoes along. Horse rides available. Clean water. Canoes available. Friendly and helpful reception. Houses are practical, have utensils, microwave, stove, kettle, etc. Bonus was the fireplace. It gets really cold at night. Thank you for a good weekend.

The beds were awful - They could use an update, up price by R100 per night but add new beds. Little bit of an update and you charge double.

The ceiling leaked whilst raining in cottage No 3 and we didn't have enough bowls for our children. Some lights/bulbs in cottage 1 did not work

Everything was good.

Very comfortable cottage on the dam. Honestly, it's great value for money. We had our own indoors fireplace, built in braai overlooking the dam, as well as another braai with a table outside. The kitchen is small, but it has everything you need. They even put out some coffee and tea for you. For what we paid, really can't fault anything. Located very close to town centre.

The drawers in the kitchen need a bit of work, it was difficult to open and close. The fence gate on the outside needs some tlc.

The location of the property is excellent, with beautiful views, kids loved the horse riding and feeding the horses carrots. The unit had a great enclosed part for our daughter's service dog. They provided more than enough extra blankets which was very helpful when it got extra cold. We had a nice wood-fired pizza from the restaurant. The unit is basic but good value for money and has everything you need. It was our second visit, and we will definitely visit again.

Because the place is on the bank of a lake, it gets very cold at night. Fortunately there was a fireplace in the unit but the wood for sale was excessively priced.

Location was great... the place was bigger than we imagined. Unfortunately we got in very late and left very early the next day so we didn't really have a chance to explore or enjoy the whole facility.

The beds are very old, uncomfortable and in need of urgent replacement. I could feel the springs and my back was very sore after 3 nights on them. The wi-fi did not work. No tv or couch in the room. Kitchen not well stocked.

The hosts were very friendly and willing to help. Very scenic venue! Nice restaurant and delicious pizza. Great trout dams right there!

Great location overlooking the dam. Peaceful, quiet. Lots of birds, horses, cows. Trout fishing available at the dam which is a stones throw away. Great facilities to braai and chat with friends or watch the sunset or sunrise

No breakfast included. The cottage overlooks the dam and it is on the edge of town. Very convenient. I was happy they gave us another cottage, as number 1 was much nicer than number 2, which had broken furniture, etc.

Beautiful scenery, rustic setting. Had a great weekend with family. The chalets were also close to town which made shopping easy.

Not much of a playground. No coffee machine in the unit as per website. Kitchenware is very depleted. Bed lights not working.

Very relaxing. Wonderful that it is pet friendly. Really enjoyed the stay.
