Great break from a busy work schedule to R&R ,despite the weather being on the cooler side. Room ,view and property were great. Sleepy wilderness was a pleasant change from busy work routine. Early morning walk on the wilderness beach front ,only a flight of stairs away, and returning to an exceptional breakfast will be missed. Wilderness is also well placed to access the rest of the garden route gems that are only a short drive away. The owner, James,was very friendly and accommodating. Would not hesitate in recommending this as a destination on the garden route.

James, the owner of the B&B is a very interesting, welcoming host. Breakfast was the most varied and uncomplicated of our entire holiday. Parking was easy, the bed was big and comfortable and the view was stunning. Its a shame we only stayed for one night.

The only thing I would recommend for improvement is to offer breakfast earlier than 8:30/9am as it might crash someone’s day trip plans.

Staying at the Dune villa Wilderness was the highlight of our holiday so far. A beautiful villa on the Ocean, with stunning views. Our room was spacious, very nicely decorated, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Access from the villa direct to the beach with wooden stairs James the owner is a lovely guy, hands on all the time , making sure all is in order. Breakfast had different varieties and very tasty. If we come again to this part of the world we will definitely stay here again.

Although the room was lovely. We personally prefer an en-suite bathroom Rather than an open plan one but other than that it was great. We would still stay there again despite this.

Room set up ... toilet in the room without walls and door does not appeal to me. Food also in close proximity to the toilet area.. There was an option to use an alternative facility outside of the room but that takes away the ensuite facility we would always want.

The property has the most beautiful view out onto the beach which can be seen by every room. It’s in a great location, short drive to the national park for hiking and the town/ local shops. It was super clean and had free tea/coffee and snacks all day. James and his staff were lovely and went above and beyond to cater for you.

Dune Villa in Wilderness is located in a beautiful spot. Rooms are spacious, very nicely decorated and clean. Views from the rooms or from the terrace and garden are spectacular. There is private access to the beach and we enjoyed every day the view, occasionally with dolphins and wales in sight, and listening to the ocean waves. Being just lazy with a book in a garden after all-what-you-wish-for breakfast or stepping down to the beach, this was a pure bliss. James, the owner, is a great host, making sure his guests are always feeling welcomed and attending to every wish. We couldn’t feel better during our stay and decided we will come again within the same trip! We definitely found a place where we will stay again when visiting South Africa next time!
