The place is cozy and comfortable . A place you would gladly call home. Peaceful and safe away from all the hustle and bustle, but yet not really far from all the necessary amenities.

A hand shower in the 2nd bathroom suite would have been useful in order for us to use either shower or Tub, as we kinda had to queue to use the shower.

The scenery was stunning, the facilities were all accommodating, especially appreciated the ease of entering and leaving the property. Appreciated the comfortable beds, and homeliness of the unit.

I only had a positive experience.

The place was spotless clean. I know it’s a small thing but the fact that there was ear buds in the bathroom, I thought was was very thoughtful. The interior design and decor was stunning.

No aircon. No insect screens on the doors and windows--and there are a lot of bugs in Hilton during Jan-Apr.

Secure and secluded with a farm-lake view. Near at least three nature reserves (QEP, Doreen Clark and Hilton, although the Hilton one is not available to the public).

The property was clean and easy to find and access. It has the most beautiful views and had everything we needed for the trip.

Eagle’s Nest is set in a beautiful, serene and quiet location. We loved the view of the valley from the patio and the forests that are within walking distance were magical to explore. The cottage was really comfortable and spacious enough for 4 adults. We got to use the fireplace as the one evening was really chilly. Wood was provided which was amazing.

It was big enough for a family stay. Although it was a rainy weekend, Caroline, the host made sure that there was enough firewood to last us the whole weekend.

Everything was great! The apartment is fully equipped with everything one needs. Woke up to an amazing view of the land around us. Serene and calm....great easy going host. Beds are great, coffee was good. Would go back anytime.

We couldn't find a potatoe peeler..would have been good to have one.

Absolutely beautiful setting with awesome views, the house is comfortable and cosy. The beds are super comfy and everything in the house is of good quality. Our host Caroline was very friendly and was just a phone call away when we needed something. Really couldn't fault the place for anything. We also enjoyed the little perks being the rusks and milk. There was also firewood for the fire place which we didn't have to pay for. Hope to be back in the near future.

Slightly off the beaten track but, the short dust road is in good condition.

Located close to Hilton College. Unit was beautifully laid out. Host communicated instructions for che k in amd check out well. I was grateful for the fresh milk in the fridge and coffee pods.

Everything- so neat and clean, plus the beautiful views of the dam from the cottage. Easy access to the N3, Midlands Meander, Hilton etc. The owner was so helpful when we thought we had left an iPad there.

There is no table inside the lounge for eating. It wasn't a major problem for us and we were able to adapt.

The quality of the furnishings, the provision of coffee pods and the coffee machine, the great view and the tranquility of the surroundings.

There is nothing bad to say about this property. Perhaps some extra blankets for the second room.

Peacefulness of the location. Gorgeous view. Kindness of the host. Everything in the cottage was top notch. Creature comforts were provided beyond what was required, coffee machine, toiletries in the bathrooms, wood for the fire.
