It was a truly unforgettable visit. Not often does somewhere far exceed your expectations. We stayed in Villa 7, which was divine. Amazing space, with incredible design. The spaces were comfy and varied and had ample space to commune or be alone. The private boma was stunning and made for a perfect braai spot. The house staff were all lovely and the gate staff brought a smile to us all every time we came and went. The boma restaurant and bar were great for a bite and drink, and to watch the animals rolling through. Ideal location to the Kruger, with Paul Kruger gate just 10 minutes away.

The cleaning staff showed up 2hours early on the day of our check out. She insisted on cleaning while we were busy packing up until we ordered her to leave so we could have some privacy to pack up. The restaurant was never operational throughout our stay so we ended up eating out or preparing the food ourselves .

This does not concerne Elephant lodge. But due to the striking and blocking of roads we could only leave via Paul Kruger gate. We had to drive over a portion of cleared sand that was dumped on the road and in doing so the RENTAL car I am hiring has been scratched. The Rental car is a Huyundai 9 seater and not a bakkie/ Jeep.

We did not know about breakfast being served. Due to striking and closing the roads to Hazyview and The Kruger Park we could not leave the estate.

We stayed in villa 11 and only 1 word can summarise our stay: fantastic! Large, luxurious house. Very nicely decorated with attention for details, kitchen equipped like at home. very spacious rooms with outside shower & bath. Outside area is just brilliant with private boma, swimming pool, sunbeds, bbq, sofas, … We were so sad we had to leave this incredible place close to Paul Kruger gate.

we were surprised that there were no preparations for load shedding in the house , we had power cuts for four hours a day , for the premium price that was paid you would expect provisions for load shedding !

Beautiful modern home with all the modern comforts. we so enjoyed our stay here as a family. The house is located in a secure estate 8km outside the Kruger National Park. Beautiful views and the kids loved the outside area as well as the pool.

I had booked 2 villas. Room 10 the linen was not too clean and the basin tops had make up stains and I didn't even put make up on💔.white linen is not supposed to have marks .And please put enough bath towels in future🙏. Ok

Villa 10 the linen wasn't very clean I had to remove the top sheet because it had dirty marks.Room 12 was super clean nothing to complain about.

too many spiders . load shedding!!!!!!!! the board of directors of the estate should think of putting generators since it’s a “5 star” lodge. there’s no tvs in the rooms.

The house was absolutely amazing! Love it!

We ordered what they call a "birthday package" for a friend's 50 birthday & let's just say we ended up with no cake at the end of it all. The food at the boma was disappointing to say the least. If we ever go back it will be just for the house.

The house was so beautiful and spacious. It had everything you could think of, all cooking utensils, ample fridge space, the pillows were so soft, I didn’t want to leave the bed! It was such a lovely experience, seeing elephants coming from the river while we were swimming. And hearing hippos in the night. Such a pity we couldn’t extend our stay. We are definitely going back!

There was not a single thing to complain about. We had a 24 hour period without electricity caused by an Eskom fault and the back-up plan worked superbly. The back-up batteries did not last the full 24 hours, a problem which could be solved by having a generator to charge the batteries when this situation arises. We are South African so we know to expect these situations and were not inconvenienced by it in the least. The staff were wonderful and made sure that everyone had torches and candles.

This world class property was spectacular in every way. The accommodation was luxurious and the situation wonderful. The staff were really helpful and when this property is completed it will meet the most exacting standards for any traveller. An evening sitting on the deck watching the sky turn pink at sunset has to be beaten. The enclosed boma, and there is one for every chalet, provides the perfect place to gather around a fire and relax. A really wonderful experience.
