The chalet was eye pleasing, it was not looking clean and the furniture was very old and dull. However I did witness that the most chalets are renovated

We booked at the lodges, Someone was having a huge party with like a 40 guests,opposite us that went into the early hours of the morning. As we had a early start the next day,this was disturbing for us

We booked as couples but our bedroom was 2 single beds though it was requested. We didn’t sleep well 1st night as we did try to move beds together but through out the night it was separating 😢. Interlock door was not locking.

There was no Notice of the construction works and the Shop not being available. We struggled to get small things like Coffee, Milk, and Sugar as the resort is not Refilling anymore The new Zinc roof k roofing on the upgraded chalets has taken away the tranquil and breathtaking view of the chalets, I would hate to be there in a rainy season. No tables and braai stands by the river like before (5-6 years ago)

The place was clean and looks like it was just renovated, so that's a plus. However, it was missing some standard things like shelves in the bathroom, coffee table and the couch in the one unit was to big so the interconnecting door did not open properly

Shuttle service was very poor, I waited for 40 minutes with the kids outside the cold. We went for breakfast in the morning, no one welcomed us,to even tell us that we should serve ourselves. Was travelling with the they can’t even assist to make coffee. They are shouting at them to sit down, and they are not serving or assisting. I guess we were supposed to sit down and watch people eat.

The property was very clean and comfortable we definitely coming back

Had to change rooms, save was not operstional, tv channels were not operational. In 2nd room we did nit have pillows to sleep on but housekeeping brought pillows.

The headboard needs upgrading as it's old and tattered

It was well kept and lovely, the headboard was old and the sponge was visible for a 4 star hotel these are upgrades they should be paying attention to. Otherwise enjoyed the breakfast and the atmosphere was beautiful! I enjoyed the game drive that was a bonus as we didn't have any planned activites!

The chalet was far from reception area.

The place looked very clean and cozy. However we got one of the rooms that are not renovated yet. So Id recommend you ask for the renovated rooms when booking, that's if you like modern finishes.

Since some of the chalets have been renovated it's a good thing but the smell of the paint it's still there. Residence visitors use to get free pass in the resort entertainment (aqudome and animal park) now they have to pay half price for that it would be nice to be told prior or include it on the booking fee.

This is one of my favorite places to escape. I found in my last two visits, the place to be more crowded than normal when fully booked. Was further disappointing that loud noise levels at all hours of the night is permitted. This is somewhat robbing of the tranquility in the night.

Swimming area entry payment, why? I mean we booked to stay there .it became a bit steep for us since we were the family of 5 . It also doesn't make sense to pay when you are only there to watch the kids swim.

The cabins were sufficient for the whole family especially the kids , Beds were comfortable and the place was clean evrytime we came back for day activities.
