The bed left much to be desired. We had two single beds with wooden bases, and the worn out sponge/mattress made sleeping very uncomfortable.

The ambiance was serene and tranquil, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that was truly calming. The venue is situated conveniently close to town and other attractions. It provided all the amenities we required, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout our stay. The entire area was kept clean and tidy all the time.

No bedside lights , no towel rails , small low down clothes hanging place , fans don’t work , kitchen cupboards don’t line up or close PROPERLEY , no DStv , no sharp knife , one frying pan only .No finances spent on guest .

Very kind and welcoming staff. Rooms cleaned daily and the food is good. The place itself is really lovely and the barbecue not to be missed. Sitting around the fire talking to other guests was a great experience. The grounds around are really beautiful and the zebra and giraffe an excellent bonus.

Exceptionally clean. Everything is in its place. Not one stone out of place. Wait for nightfall, the garden lights are wonderful. Makes the lodge look like a fairy tale.

Nothing to fault we stayed mid week so not to busy which was great . It would be nice to have an info booklet in the cabins about area facilities, places of interest and extras the lodge supplies. Alicia was most helpful but having tariffs etc and recommendations would be great to browse through and helpful to visitors domestic and foreign.

Beautiful bush setting in a very well maintained park . Comfortable cabin which was clean and tidy and serviced daily by inconspicuous staff. Nice central accommodation to the national game reserves and an easy drive to Sodwana and Lake St Lucia.

Clean, comfortable chalet. Peaceful, secure surroundings. Mandla, who welcomed us when we arrived, is perhaps the greatest asset to this establishment with his friendly, professional manner.

Ran out of filter coffee at breakfast. Made me really angry because coffee is what I look forward to to in the morning. Nobody told me that lunches could be made for the day trips. Only realised when I asked why others get a meal.

We loved the friendly staff. Love that I could have a morning run on the property and see giraffe, zebra and buck.

Google maps (and also address) shows completely different location. The actual lodge is 11 km outside Hluhluwe. Beware of food if there is only a few guests. It is not eatable! Better to go to KFC in Hluhluwe.

The lodge is placed in the mid of bush fortest, surrounded by nature. The games organised by lodge (with Wiseman) are worth every penny. The knowledge of nature of this guide is incredible and despite the bad weather he did absolutely everything to make the games as interesting as possible!

Firstly we encounented challenges with the receptionist lady by the name of Alicia. Her atittude was pathetic she did not treat us as guest, she is not supposed to the front staff of such an important, beautiful establishment. As for Mandla and Boni, they are the assets to this business. Respect, hospitality are in their gins. Thank you guys for your most welcoming expiriance. Just because of you, we will visit again, Thanks you.
