Location, layout, decor and cleanliness! The property is very well maintained, has a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. I love the crisp and clean decor vibe of this house in the bush. And the outdoor shower, perfection!

It echoed in the common indoor space, which made it a bit difficult to sneak away quietly in the morning while the others slept.

We have stayed in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate before and this was by far the best house yet. Friendly host and staff, quick to help when needed. The location in the estate is great, just a short walk from the Green Belt and a hide. The house is nicely equipped and we really liked the pool and firepit.

It is a very minor point but the interior decor was plain. I think it could be improved by including more examples of the local arts and craft which is available in the town of Hoedspruit.

The location within the wildlife park was excellent. It was only a short walk to one of the dams where a wide variety of bird and animal life could be observed. The location was also perfect as a base to explore Kruger National Park, which is less than 1 hours drive away. Spending time within the property was a pleasure. It was unfenced, which meant that we were treated to regular visits from warthogs, dwarf mongoose, several species of antelope and abundant birdlife. The decor was plain yet perfectly functional. All of the rooms were large and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed. The property was designed for outdoor living with extensive dining space, nice pool, braai area and decking areas for relaxing. it was just lovely being able to sit in the comfort of the stoup soak in the atmosphere and observe the amazing wildlife. We would definitely return. The hosts were very attentive and quickly dealt with anything issue we raised.

That the weekend was over and we had to go home 😔

We loved the quiet bushveld and seeing the animals. Loved the swiming pool, outdoor shower and boma braai area. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Had all the amenities we needed. We will surely visit again but remember bicycles next time 😃

Lack of a mop to clean up your footprints from the pool which really isn’t a big thing but you feel bad for dirtying a beautiful home

All that we didn’t like was the signing in and out at the main gate was a hassle, but not that bad. And there was really nothing else wrong with the property.

It was so calm, very neat and tidy, very comfortable bed, more than you need to get away and relax. It was the perfect place to go and rest. I loved the big rooms, large open living areas and the braai and stoep area is perfect to sit in the sun and drink coffee in the morning. The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly.

While Fairfarren is set in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, and has wild animals running around, please don't expect peace and tranquility. This is very much a well occupied residential estate. We were soon treated to barking dogs from two of the neigbouring houses, with one dog barking all day (obviously locked inside while the owners where at work).

Fairfarren is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The house is lovely with a beautiful patio, braai area and fire pit. Its lovely to have kudu walking through the property, and the resident bushbuck and bush baby are a treat.

The bedrooms do not have dresser tables or any place to put down personal items. Both spacious bathrooms have showers only - I personally prefer a bath. As the house is not serviced during your stay, access to a broom will be appreciated.

The property seems to be brand new and is clean and comfortable.
