Farm road not the best. Our children had small cars (Swifts) which they just managed to get down the farm road. If we go again we might try and leave their cars somewhere in Dullstroom town.

Lovely accommodation with a large fenced in yard which was such a bonus as we had 4 dogs that weekend. The walks were beautiful! Gavin was very friendly and accommodating

No Vodacom cellphone signal but mainly a problem due to the medical emergency that we had. Gavin did however assist with a phone and a booster. Mainly MTN. Also no wood fires allowed for a braai. Can only use charcoal. We prefer wood.

Very nice and secluded. You will need a vehicle with proper clearance to reach the farm. We had a medical emergency and Gavin was amazing in assisting us. Had a nice view over a dam and did not see the other chalets from our chalet. Facilities were great and it was like home from home. Enjoyed the fishing even if strictly catch and release. Areas around dams were neatly maintained. Will definitely visit again. Although it was not cold enough to light the fireplace there was sufficient wood to make a proper fire. Always had hot water since the water is heated by gas. The waterfall and rock pools for swimming was amazing. The staff was very friendly. We had to travel with two vehicles. The one vehicle had low clearance and Greg, the owner, assisted that we could leave one of our vehicles at his house in town. Overall we had a great experience despite the medical emergency where we had one of our family members admitted to hospital in Middelburg.

The driveway - we should have been warned about the condition of the road to the house. One has to have a high-rise AWD vehicle. It if rains, you’d have to have a 4x4.

The location is magnificent. So quiet and peaceful.

    There’s nothing not to like!

The property was absolutely blissful. Fenced in with a large garden for our two medium breed dogs to have a blast! As if it weren’t enough the trails all over the area, down to the most beautiful waterfalls and trout dams were an absolute treat to take the dogs out for the day with us. Pams pools is absolutely beautiful and a must see! The fireplace is a treat & the incredibly helpful farm manager provided us with wood even when we forgot and had to ask for some on a Sunday. Overall- we would have loved to stay longer and will certainly be back

Not an easy access to the venue which requires a vehicle with high clearance. But this also contributed to a unique experience. Be mindful of poor or no cell phone connectivity.

Tranquil, hidden gem close to Dullstroom. Beautiful walks, waterfalls and abundant bird life. Ideal place to recharge mind, body and soul. Gavin the farm manager is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel at home from the onset.

It didnt affect us as we were in a 4x4 but someone with a small car would battle to get down the road to the farm.

When we got to the farm the keys were hanging in the door so no going looking for them. The unit was very comfotable. The view we fantastic and the fire inside was most welcome and very cosy

Access Road was not in good state of repair, however, we were warned to use high clearance vehicles. No pool queues for pool table, although we did not follow up with manager as we had plenty of games with us to play. Sofas a bit hard.

Beautiful location. Excellent host. Lovely walks and good fishing dams. Close to town but remote enough to be peaceful. Lovely fires in the evening and co.st atmosphere for a large group. Spacious rooms. Lots of space for little kids to run arounnd.

They mention the roads and need for ground clearance especially with all the rain - thanks! Maybe just let people know beforehand about cellphone signal. But it was not a crisis at all, thanks to the farm managers assistance.

The pools and waterfalls are absolutely lovely. We went with our 4year old and it's great that you can drive most of the way and then have more time to spend splashing about. There is no Vodacom signal at the cottages, but the farm manager is attentive, lives just a few 100meters away and in a pinch will let you call or message whoever you need to from his phone. Perfect, quiet weekend retreat.
