Some items were not quite up to standard - small things like toilet paper and soap quality. Also, noise travels easily and we could hear everyone getting ready for breakfast in the early hours of the morning.

They use horrible cheap toilet paper and I know its for the sceptic tank, but I know for a fact you can do better. Also the WIFI not too great. And when the host warns you about the thin walls - She means it

The room is advertised to have air conditioning but the aircon is turned off by the venue management from 9:30pm to 6:00am which make it completely useless! The whole idea is to sleep in a cool and comfortable room, as one is most likely going to be out during the day. The windows open up on the closed up patio so there is no ventilation, the ceiling fan is not effective. As a result we had an extremely uncomfortable night and did not sleep well at all. This might be a good place to stay in winter but I won't book here again in summer. I would strongly that the venue increase the size of their backup inverter system to handle the load of aircons running during the night or to find a workaround for the problem, this area is way too hot to not have working air conditioners during night time especially in rooms with no proper ventilation.

It’s a very beautiful and well maintained guesthouse. Location is perfect to explore the Dinokeng Reserve with guided tours or self-drive. There is a lot of greenery on the territory of the guesthouse and a nice pool+barbecue area. The staff is very helpful, I have really appreciated that they sent a lot of suggestions and recommendations about our stay in advance. Because of the load-shedding stage at that moment, the AC didn’t work the whole night. First we were worried about that because we arrived just in the middle of the heatwave, but it was actually alright, we slept well, because the fan was enough and nights get fresh. There was an issue with the fan in our room when we arrived, but fortunately the staff quickly found a solution for us. Also, delicious breakfast with generous portions. And a nice beautiful cat lives there.

Feral house cat roamed around the property. Staff did inform us of it, however it should be removed.

There is nothing that we did not like.

FOREVA WILD was a very pleasant surprise, especially the stoep that was part of the room. We had a lovely view and saw wild animals from the comfort of comfortable chairs. The staff are excellent and the breakfast the time that we want to eat. The owner is a lovely woman and tend to our needs. There are a swimming pool and playground for the kids. It is safe and beautiful maintained. They wil see us soon!

They only provide breakfast, which is fine but then recommend that they have vending machines with snacks like biltong, nuts, etc. Would be nice if they were licensed and could also offer beer and wine in vending machines.

It was a bit difficult to locate the place. And the signal is really poor in the area. Everything was really nice, only thing that bothered me was that there were no rugby chanels available in the room and it is rugby world cup.

1.No heaters in the rooms, hense it's now winter. 2.We requested a remote for a heater but we were told that it's not allowed to be used. 3. We had to drink water from the bathroom basin.

I stayed in the cottage and the bath is stained yellow and the water was turned still the way ion HOT but the water was Luke warm and the shower was leaking behind the wall and the shower floors had that mould on them.

We had a superb experience at the accommodation, especially because of a very friendly owner. Despite our failure to prearrange any details with the owner due to a hectic week, they still managed to coordinated a packed weekend itinerary, including game drives and a bush walk. The reserve was great, too!
