The rooms are beautiful, the hosts are amazing, great location (20 elephants on the river out the front on the first night we checked in) & the food was perfect. Absolutely no faults at all, this place is the real deal.

The heated pool didn't work and we were simply told that they will not be fixing it while we are there and yet, that is what we paid for. The food was terrible that was provided by the property and the hosts were not professional. The host was asleep when we arrived at 2pm after it was confirmed beforehand that we will be arriving at 2pm.

Great location and the safari was fantastic. Room is clean and nice.

After reading the reviews of the other guests, we were looking forward to our dinner experiences and were slightly disappointed that our dishes came to our room already fully finished and prepared. Also, two of us were vegetarians (which we made sure was known before our arrival) and felt like our meals were a bit last-minute/unimaginative and not quite filling - eg one of our dinners was a bowl of cold salad to share while the menu of our friend included different kind of meats with a variety of grilled vegetables, potatos and other sides. This is personal preferences for sure but while our hosts were the kindest people of the world, we would have liked to have a bit more privacy.

The rooms are amazing, with lots of space indoors and outdoors. The bathrooms are brand new and feel very luxurous and to have an outdoor shower is great! We loved to have our personal outdoor space with a table to eat at, deck chairs and a tiny private pool. You can feel that great effort is made to provide the guests with a nice place to stay. The owners and the staff are extremly friendly and very keen to make sure, you have the best experience possible. The have great knowledge of the area and are happy to share it. Everything is very personal in this accomodation and the opposite of mass-tourism feeling! It is also nice to have the option to go on safari with them. It starts right at your front door, which is great! One time we were the only guests, so we had a private day out. The safari cars are very comfortable with windshieds for the drive to the park. The breakfast served at the accomodation when we didn't go on morning safari was amazing.

Didn't have issue with anything...

Really enjoyed our Stay at Foxy & everyone was really accommodating, helpful with a cheery attitude. Karla was always 'om n hand' to assist should we had needed anything and breakfast, dinner was brought to our lodge and was tasty and more than enough for 2 people. We hired a car from Joburg airport to get across to Marloth, which took because of traffic & road works 7 hours, but that was exceptional, as the return journey took 4 hours 30. There are various restaurants and cafes spread around the Marloth area, so no problem there. We did a morning safari from Foxy which was arranged by Gail and saw some amazing sights. If you're squeamish be prepared, but that's nature. Love SA & will go back one day, but thanks to Foxy Lodge, made our week.

owner continuously popping into the villa without permission. every time we got into the pool he appeared. went into the villa when ever we where not home. I’m return we saw him run out. on our honeymoon. disgusting. we got dressed in the bathroom as we felt we were watched

The owner could have assisted with the pre booking for the Kruger National Park. As we arrived late after 6pm and left at 5am.

The location and the units was amazing. I was really impressed with the well equipped Superior chalets .

To get to the unit you need to drive on unlit ,unpaved, badly damaged roads full of pot holes. Unless a person has a larger car that is high up from the road surface there is a good chance you will damage your car.

The unit had everything we needed and was comfortable.

Was to far from river said 50 m but that is from the front gate not the units..location… no DSTV and no Wi fi!
