Nothing. It was a great place that had exactly what a person needed.

It was in a very central location but extremely close to where we went for dinner. Being welcomed was fantastic and when they heard that it was our 21st anniversary Champagne was sent to our room. Something we did not expect.

This beautiful room was surrounded by lush gardens and was truly beautiful! It had everything we needed and more. It’s the little touches! Beautiful bathroom and bedding, good hair dryer, enough milk for a proper cup of tea. Stunning views and lovely staff! Thank you for our stay!

Fransvliet is a beautiful place. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. You can also have a really nice breakfast there.

We stayed for two nights in the Fern Suite and wished we could have stayed longer. Fabulous accommodation, very well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful outlook onto the gardens and the mountains beyond. Lovely breakfast. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Located near Maison, Atlas Swift and Leopard’s Leap vineyards, Hey Jo and Franschhoek breweries and about 4km from the wine tram terminal and main town.

Close to Road so some traffic noise. Breakfast seemed expensive so we were put off.

Large bright and airy bathroom and bedroom/ sitting area and separate dressing area. Swimming pool was a welcome bonus after a hot day on the wine tram.

Stayed in the 2 bed villa. Loved having the option to stay by own plunge pool or sit by pool in main area. Villa had everything needed to self cater - although with the number of amazing places to eat in Franschhoek we didn’t cook! Bedrooms and en-suites were extremely spacious. Plenty of areas to sit both inside and out. Villa was spotless on arrival and cleaned daily. All staff extremely friendly and very welcoming. Walking distance to two craft breweries, or a very short car / taxi ride in to main town or surrounding vineyards.

Very clean, lovely decor. We stayed in the Garden Studio, it had everything we needed. Huge walk in shower and the bathroom space to place toiletries we much appreciated. Very close to Franschoek town. This was indeed a very relaxing stay and I would definitely come back again.

The rooms are close to the road and sometimea you hear the cars from the rooms but its really very minor dislike

Was such a beautiful room and facilities, great attention to little details and just really beautiful and clean! The staff, victor, was so lovely and welcoming and also gave us a bottle of champaigne as it was our honeymoon! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

There was nothing to complain about.

I liked everything. From my arrival till I left, I was treated so special. The staff and owner when above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I even got a tour of the rest of the property, which I truly enjoyed. The breakfast was scrumtious and again, the team went out of their way to make it truly special. The room was so beautifully decorated and the view at the breakfast table was magnificant.

Fransvliet guest house is an amazing property on the fringe of Franschhoek! It is very peaceful, having only few rooms, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. The entire place is surrounded by vineyards and greenery - the perfect get away!

Super little chalet room. Had everything we needed. Lovely view. Pretty gardens. Amazing bath and shower and loads of hot water. All the little touches to make our stay great. A warm fire in our room! The lemon tree and proteas were magical!

Our stay at Fransvliet was perfect in every way. Victor and the staff were wonderful, efficient and very helpful. The room and facilities were excellent. It was a short drive into town, but we were aware of that and Victor and Philip were always on hand to take us into town and pick us up. This is a little gem. Our only complaint was that we did not stay for longer.
