I had requested champagne glasses and was told to look in the cupboards???! I tell them that if they were there I wouldn’t have requested for them then they say they’ll bring them up which took over 30 minutes only for them to come up and say they don’t have champagne glasses a few minutes later my friend went down and requested and they gave her.

The rooms are a little far from the entrance especially if you’re getting dropped off from reception. The pool are closes too soon especially for someone who is Luke like night swims

Tiny bathroom; that shower situation is a mess, no room to move around, and the top shower head does not make it easy. Air-conditioning is poorly placed. It never goes above the bed, literally asking for someone to get sick. Only one small window in the entire room. It's pretty dark during the day without the lights being on. Lastly, I waited 45 minutes for the iron & ironing board because they didn't know where they were located.

1. Common staircases were dirty. Stains and dust not cleaned throughout our entire 2 nights stay. 2. Rubbish left in bins for more than 12 hours (block b) stairwell near parking area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Mint 84 in Johannesburg, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Their room was far and no lift/elevator you Will have to walk and climb longer stairs. These workers were awesome and superb Bheki, Bryan, and Fefe

From early morning until late at night, guests would shout down the corridors outside my room, arrive or leave in noisy vehicles, having no consideration for anyone

Hot shower for the first three days. Badger that Luke warm water. Asked reception twice to fix. Never did. Toilet not flushing properly. Initial flush everything is clean. But if you come back a little later, everything has come back into the bowl. Asked reception to fix. Never did. Mr Jeff arrived very late with my laundry. Was supposed to be 24 hours. Kept me waiting for 30 minutes and I eventually left. When it did arrive I was charged for a more expensive service.

There was no telephone in the room, so for me to ask for an iron I had to walk all the way to the reception and it was a long walk .

It was clean and well located , as you can walk to Sandton city mall.

We noted the set up was a bit different ...There were also some drinks they couldn't serve because they didn't have it available. The service was not the same, when I enquired, I believe the management changed. This was our second visit to Mint. The experience we had when we were there the first time was not the same.

We loved the heated pool and Jacuzzi.
